From Touray to Chácon: six standouts from the Under-17 Women's World Cup

The 2025 Under-17 Women's World Cup has kicked off in Morocco, with several countries making a strong start to their campaigns. Among the players who have caught the attention of fans and pundits alike are six talented youngsters who have stood out for their impressive displays.

First up is Giulia Galli from Italy, a 17-year-old forward who has been instrumental in her team's success so far. With five goals in just three games, Galli has proven to be a clinical finisher, breaking down even the toughest defenses with ease. Her performances have not gone unnoticed, and she has also been making waves for Roma, scoring the winner against Milan in their Serie A Women's Cup match.

Brazil's Giovanna Waksman is another player who has impressed this far at the tournament. The 16-year-old forward has showcased her natural skill and goalscoring ability, earning her a reputation as one of the most promising young talents coming through the Brazilian youth system. With three goals to her name so far, Waksman will be crucial for Brazil as they face China in their next match.

North Korea's Kim Won-sim is also making waves at this tournament, with two goals in their win over Cameroon showcasing her technical ability and goal-scoring prowess. The 15-year-old midfielder has been a key player for her team so far, combining impressively with Ri Ui-gyong down the left flank to create scoring opportunities.

Spain's Carlota Chácon has also emerged as one of the breakout stars at this tournament, scoring four goals in just three games to help her team qualify for the knockouts. With a strong aerial ability and instincts inside the box, Chácon has been a game-changer for La Rojita, but they will face a tough test against France in their next match.

Nigeria's Queen Joseph is another player who has turned heads at this tournament, with two goals in her last match helping to book her team's spot in the knockout stage. The 15-year-old forward has shown electric pace and goal-scoring ability, breaking through hesitant defensive lines and finishing instinctively inside the box.

Finally, there's Nyanya Touray from the United States, who is just one goal away from equalling the record for most goals scored by an American at this tournament. With four goals to her name so far, Touray has continued her impressive form with the US team, scoring crucial goals in their group stage victories and helping them progress to the round of 16.

These six players have already made a significant impact on this tournament, and it will be fascinating to see how they perform as the competition progresses.

idk why ppl make such hype about these young girls playing footy 🤷‍♀️ they just r talented players doin their job but its not like they're breaking any records or pushin boundaries. we should be focusin on the big picture, like how teams are managin to perform with all these youngsters on board? and havin that much pressure on these young heads isnt good 4 them 🤕

these young ladies are absolutely lit 🔥! i mean, 5 goals in just 3 games is insane for Giulia Galli - she's definitely got some serious skills 💪. and Giovanna Waksman from Brazil? wow, what a talent 😍. north korea's kim won-sim is so underrated right now - that goal against cameroon was pure magic ⚡️. it's amazing to see these young players making waves in the football world 🌊. can't wait to see how they all perform as the tournament heats up 🔥

THE PLAYERS IN THIS TOURNAMENT ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! 🤩 Giulia Galli from Italy is literally ON FIRE with 5 goals in just 3 games! 🚀 And Giovanna Waksman from Brazil is showing off her natural skill and goal-scoring ability, earning her a spot as one of the most promising young talents coming through the Brazilian youth system. 🌟 Kim Won-sim from North Korea is also impressing with her technical ability and goal-scoring prowess, especially in that big win over Cameroon! 😲 Carlota Chácon from Spain is like a game-changer with 4 goals in just 3 games, but they gotta take on France next which is gonna be super tough. 💪 Queen Joseph from Nigeria is bringing the heat with electric pace and goal-scoring ability, breaking through hesitant defensive lines and finishing instinctively inside the box! 🔥 And Nyanya Touray from the US is just one goal away from equalling that record for most goals scored by an American at this tournament, which is CRAZY COOL!!! 🤯

I think these young stars are getting way too much attention 🤔. I mean, sure, they're all super talented and stuff, but let's not forget that they're still just teenagers playing in a youth tournament 🎉. The media is hyping them up like they're the next big thing already... and honestly, it's kinda unfair to these other players who are also showing some serious skills on the field 👍. Giulia Galli might be scoring all these goals and whatnot, but has anyone seen her play defense? 😂 I'm not saying she can't do both, but we should give these other players a chance too, you know? Like, Carlota Chácon's got some amazing skills, but is she being given the same level of praise as these other girls? 🤷‍♀️

omg u guys i'm literally so hyped for this under 17 women's world cup!!! 🤩 there are some seriously talented youngsters playing here and Giulia Galli from Italy is just a clinical finisher, i mean 5 goals in 3 games is insane!!! 😲 and then theres Giovanna Waksman from Brazil who's got natural skill pouring out of every pore 🌟 her team needs her to score in the next match against china, fingers crossed! 👍

I'm loving this tournament so far 🤩! The level of skill on display is insane! But what's really interesting to me is the fact that we're not seeing more Asian teams competing in the knockout stages. I mean, North Korea and Japan are both talented sides, but they just can't seem to get over the hump. Maybe it's time for FIFA to look into providing more resources and support to Asian countries to help them develop their women's football infrastructure? 🤔

🤔 just saw this thread about the under-17 women's world cup and i'm loving these young talents 😍 Giulia Galli from Italy is like a superpower on the pitch 🌟 but what's up with the rules, why are they only allowing 6 players per team for those youth tournaments? seems kinda unfair 👀 also, gotta say, Nyanya Touray from the US is giving me life with her goals 🎯

omg can u believe these young ladies are KILLING IT at the U17 Women's World Cup 🤯🏆 Giulia Galli is like, unstoppable with those 5 goals in just 3 games! 🚀 and Giovanna Waksman from Brazil is like a goal-scoring machine 📈 i mean, 3 goals already and she's only 16! 🎉 Kim Won-sim from North Korea is so underrated atm 😅 her technical skills are fire 🔥 and Carlota Chácon from Spain is a total game-changer with those 4 goals in just 3 games 🤯 queen Joseph from Nigeria is electric on the pitch 💥 and Nyanya Touray from the US is so close to breaking that record 📊 fingers crossed she gets it! 😁

omg these young ladies r literally killing it on the pitch 🤩👯🏽♀️ Giulia Galli is so clutch with those goals, and Giovanna Waksman's skill level is insane 💪🔥 Carlota Chácon is my girl, her aerial ability is everything 😍 queen Queen Joseph is so fast and agile on the pitch 🏃‍♀️💨 and Nyanya Touray is just one goal away from breaking that record lol can't wait to see what these young stars do next 💕

OMG 🤩 these young girls are absolute powerhouses on the pitch! I mean Giulia Galli's got skills for days - she's like a clinical finisher machine 💪. And Brazil's Giovanna Waksman, girl's got talent pouring out of every pore! 😍 Meanwhile, North Korea's Kim Won-sim is totally underrated - her technical ability is insane 🤯. Spain's Carlota Chácon's another one to watch out for, she's like a goal-scoring machine 🔥. And don't even get me started on Nigeria's Queen Joseph and the US's Nyanya Touray, they're both absolute goals 🎯💃. I'm so hyped to see how these six girls bring their A-game in the coming matches 🤩 #Under17Women #WorldCup2025 #Football #GirlsInSports

you know what's wild? i just got back from the most epic road trip with my friends 🚗🌄 we drove through the countryside and stopped at all these quirky little cafes for breakfast 🥐️‍♀️. like, have you ever had a waffle sandwich 🤔 it's a game-changer. anyway, back to football - i love how these young players are killing it on the pitch 💪 but what's up with the commentator's commentary? sometimes i feel like they're more excited than the players themselves 😂
