3 Bay Area schools selected for Disney's inaugural 'Stage Connect' program

Three Bay Area schools have been selected to participate in Disney's new "Stage Connect" initiative, a free musical program designed to bring the magic of Disney to local students. The three winning schools are El Toro Health Science Academy in Morgan Hill, Oakbrook Academy of the Arts in Fairfield, and Searles Elementary in Union City.

As part of this program, these schools will receive show kits, complete with all the necessary props and costumes, as well as free teacher training to help them get started. Additionally, participating students will gain performance rights to Disney shows, allowing them to perform their favorite musical numbers.

The "Stage Connect" initiative aims to inspire a love of the performing arts in young people, while also providing them with valuable skills and experience that can benefit them throughout their lives.

If you're interested in applying for this program with your school, more information is available on the Disney website.

Disney's at it again, bringing magic to our kiddos' schools 🀩! I mean, who doesn't love a good musical number, right? But seriously, it's awesome that they're investing in the next gen of performers and thinkers. I guess you could say these schools are about to get a 'happily ever after' education πŸ˜‚. The show kits are like a box full of fairy tale goodies – props, costumes, the whole shebang! And free teacher training? That's just icing on the cake (or should I say, Disney-fication?). It's all about spreading that Disney magic and inspiring young minds to dream big 🎬.

OMG u guys! 🀩 I'm so stoked to hear that 3 Bay Area schools made it into Disney's "Stage Connect" program πŸŽ‰! It's amazing how something as fun as a musical can bring kids together and help them develop skills that'll last a lifetime πŸ’–. I think it's genius that they're providing show kits and free teacher training - it's not like they're just throwing some props at the schools and expecting magic to happen πŸ˜‰. The fact that participating students get to perform their fave Disney numbers is just the icing on the cake 🍰. Can't wait to see what kind of talent these kids come up with! πŸ‘

Man I'm so stoked to hear about this "Stage Connect" initiative! 🀩 It's awesome that Disney is investing time and resources into bringing magic to our schools. I mean think about it, who doesn't love a good musical? 🎢 As someone who went through school in the Bay Area, it's amazing to see these local schools get recognized for their arts programs. The fact that they're getting show kits and free teacher training is gonna make a huge difference in getting more kids involved in performing arts. I'm also loving the idea of performance rights - can you imagine being able to perform your fave Disney musical numbers with your friends? πŸ’– It's all about giving kids the skills and confidence to pursue their passions, and I think this program is just that! πŸŽ‰

πŸŽ΅πŸ‘ I'm so down for this 🀩! Schools are already giving kids so much πŸ“šπŸ’‘ and now they get to perform their fave musical numbers 🎢πŸ”₯ it's like a dream come true 😴🌟 these show kits and teacher training will definitely help the students shine πŸ’« I hope more schools join in too 🀝🏽 because arts programs are so important for kids' self-esteem and creativity πŸŽ¨πŸ’–

πŸŽ‰πŸ‘ I'm so stoked to hear about these schools getting selected for Disney's "Stage Connect" initiative 🎭! It's amazing how they're bringing magic to our local kids through music and performance arts πŸ’«. I think it's super cool that they'll get to perform their favorite Disney shows 🎢 and gain experience that'll help them in the long run πŸ“š.

I'm all about supporting programs like this, even if they might seem a bit pricey πŸ’Έ...but hey, who doesn't love a good dose of Disney magic? ✨ The fact that these schools are getting everything for free (well, mostly free πŸ˜‰) is just awesome! Let's give it up for the winning schools πŸŽ‰: El Toro Health Science Academy, Oakbrook Academy of the Arts, and Searles Elementary – you're going to rock this! πŸ’₯

omg, it's so cool that 3 Bay Area schools got picked for disney's "Stage Connect" thing 🀩! i think it's a great idea to bring some magic to local students' lives. our kids deserve to have fun and express themselves through music and theatre, right?

i'm a bit surprised they didn't pick more schools, tbh. i thought for sure more of our artsy schools would be in the running πŸ€”. but still, it's awesome that these 3 will get to experience disney magic firsthand! those show kits must be so exciting - can you imagine getting props and costumes for a real disney show? πŸ”₯

πŸ€” I mean, I guess it's cool that these schools are getting to do some Disney stuff, but like, isn't this just another way for Disney to make a bunch of cash off their own productions? I mean, they're basically selling you a show kit and calling it "free"... πŸ€‘ Don't get me wrong, I'm all about giving back to the community and promoting arts education, but can't they just do it out of the goodness of their hearts instead of making bank off it?

And have you seen the lineup for these shows? Like, is this really going to inspire kids to develop a love for the performing arts, or are we just setting them up for disappointment when they realize they're not as good as the pros on Disney? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I don't know, maybe I'm being too cynical...

I'm all about empowering our youth, and programs like "Stage Connect" are exactly what we need to encourage creativity & self-expression πŸŽπŸ“š. It's amazing that Disney is stepping up to help schools bring the magic of their shows to life! The free resources & teacher training will definitely make a difference for students who might not have access to performing arts programs otherwise.

I'm also loving the idea that these schools get to perform their favorite Disney numbers – it's going to be epic! 🀩 Not only will this bring joy to our young people, but it'll also give them valuable experience in teamwork, communication & stage presence. Can't wait to see what kind of amazing performances come out of these programs! πŸ’ͺ
