Three Bay Area schools have been selected to participate in Disney's new "Stage Connect" initiative, a free musical program designed to bring the magic of Disney to local students. The three winning schools are El Toro Health Science Academy in Morgan Hill, Oakbrook Academy of the Arts in Fairfield, and Searles Elementary in Union City.
As part of this program, these schools will receive show kits, complete with all the necessary props and costumes, as well as free teacher training to help them get started. Additionally, participating students will gain performance rights to Disney shows, allowing them to perform their favorite musical numbers.
The "Stage Connect" initiative aims to inspire a love of the performing arts in young people, while also providing them with valuable skills and experience that can benefit them throughout their lives.

! I mean, who doesn't love a good musical number, right? But seriously, it's awesome that they're investing in the next gen of performers and thinkers. I guess you could say these schools are about to get a 'happily ever after' education 
. The show kits are like a box full of fairy tale goodies – props, costumes, the whole shebang! And free teacher training? That's just icing on the cake (or should I say, Disney-fication?). It's all about spreading that Disney magic and inspiring young minds to dream big

As someone who went through school in the Bay Area, it's amazing to see these local schools get recognized for their arts programs. The fact that they're getting show kits and free teacher training is gonna make a huge difference in getting more kids involved in performing arts. I'm also loving the idea of performance rights - can you imagine being able to perform your fave Disney musical numbers with your friends?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about giving back to the community and promoting arts education, but can't they just do it out of the goodness of their hearts instead of making bank off it?
I don't know, maybe I'm being too cynical...
