3 things about Hurricane Melissa that make it so unusual and dangerous

OMG u guys 😱 I'm literally shaking thinking about this Hurricane Melissa!!! 🌪️ The fact that it's a category 5 storm & it hit Jamaica with winds of 185mph is just INSANE 🤯! I mean, I know the island's got some serious mountainous terrain which can create flash floods but come on, 7 lives lost already?! 🚑💔 And don't even get me started on those substandard living conditions - it's like they're asking for disaster 😩. The thing is, this storm could be a harbinger of more intense storms to come... I'm talking major devastation all over the Caribbean 🌊! We need to keep an eye on the hurricane season from now 'til November 🕰️!
 
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this Hurricane Melissa... 185 miles per hour?! That's insane 🤯. I mean, I've seen some strong storms before, but this one takes the cake. And the fact that it can cause more damage from flash floods than just strong winds is really scary 😨. It makes me wonder how many people were prepared for this kind of disaster. Jamaica's housing stock is pretty substandard, so it's no surprise that there's a lot of damage to homes and schools... but still, it's devastating 🤕. And the fact that another major storm could hit soon because of the calm start to the season has me on edge 😬. It just goes to show how unpredictable these storms can be...
