! He was having an amazing tournament and I thought for sure he'd bring home that Golden Ball award 
. But I guess his team just didn't step up when it mattered most. It's crazy how much pressure can get on a player - you gotta feel for him, he's carrying the whole team on his back and it's just not fair 
. And those fans must be devastated... Egypt has been working towards this moment for years and to come so close only to fall short is really tough to watch 
. On the bright side, Mo Salah will always go down as one of the greatest Egyptian players of all time - that's something to hold his head high about

I love how Mo Salah is always giving 110% on the pitch though, it's so admirable 
he deserves a trophy win, even if it's not with his team 
and now it's just another disappointment 
they had high hopes this year but it looks like they just fell short. Salah might not win the afropa cup with egypt, but he'll always be remembered as one of the greatest in egyptian football history 
. Egypt's fans are gonna be gutted
