Ahead of U.S. Concerts, Hatchie Rides on With ‘Carousel’

Australian Dream-Pop Artist Hatchie Unveils Latest Single 'Carousel' Ahead of US Concerts

Hatchie, the brainchild of Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Harriette Pilbeam, has just dropped her latest single "Carousel" in support of her third studio album "Liquorice". The dream-pop practitioner is gearing up for a string of US concerts, including stops in Los Angeles and New York.

"Carousel" is an epic track that delves into themes of fixation, longing, and emotional suspension. The song boasts shoegaze-inspired guitars and builds to a soaring chorus. Fans are already buzzing around the single's release, with Hatchie expressing her excitement about finally sharing "Liquorice" with her Australian fans.

The album "Liquorice", released through Secretly Canadian, features singles like "Lose It Again", "Sage", and "Only One Laughing". The LP was recorded by producer Melina Duterte at her home studio in Los Angeles, alongside Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett) on drums, with Alex Farrar (Wednesday, MJ Lenderman) on mixing duties. Greg Obis (Dutch Interior, Slow Pulp, Wishy) mastered the album in Chicago.

Hatchie has been gaining momentum since her debut album's release, and fans can expect a treat with her "Liquorice Tour" 2026. The tour will kick off with a show at Los Angeles' Lodge Room on February 5th, followed by stops in New York's Music Hall of Williamsburg on February 20th. She'll also return to Sydney for a headline show on May 3rd at The Vanguard.

Catch Hatchie live and experience the euphoric energy that her music brings to fans worldwide.

🎶 I'm totally stoked about Hatchie's new single "Carousel"! It's like she's been bottling up all these emotions and feelings and now they're just spilling out in this gorgeous dream-pop track 🌊 The guitar work is insane, it's like she's transported us to a whole other world where nothing else matters but the music 🎸 And that chorus? Forget about it! It's like it's going to give you wings and carry you away on a wave of euphoria 💨 What I love most about Hatchie's music is how it always feels so... intimate, you know? Like she's sharing these super personal stories with us that only we get to hear 🤫 And the production quality is just top-notch - I mean, who knew Melina Duterte and Stella Mozgawa could create something so magical together?! ✨ The whole thing just feels like a masterclass in songwriting and sonic experimentation. Can't wait to see Hatchie live next year!

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it." 🌟💖 You gotta love the vibe of Hatchie's new single, "Carousel". She's got this gift for creating dream-pop anthems that just make you wanna dance around in your room all night. Her live shows must be like a spiritual experience or something 😎. Anyway, can't wait to see her kill it on tour next year! 🤩

🌙 I think what's really cool about this whole thing is how our perception of time can be super distorted when we're lost in our own thoughts... like on "Carousel". It's like, you can get so caught up in your own head and feel like the world outside just stops existing. But that's where I think the magic happens - when we learn to navigate those feelings and not let them consume us 🌊. Maybe it's time for us to take a step back, breathe, and remember what's really important... or is it?

I'm not sure about all the fuss around this new single "Carousel" by Hatchie 🤔... Don't get me wrong, it sounds pretty dreamy and all, but is it really a game-changer? I mean, we've had similar shoegaze vibes before from other artists. And what's with the hype for this US tour? Are people just excited to see her perform live or is there something more to it? 🤷‍♀️

Ugh 🤕, sounds like people are gonna have to deal with even more traffic in LA and NYC next year... concert crowds can be so overwhelming 😩. And 2026 tour dates just mean another chance for overpriced merch and mediocre food at festivals 🎨💸. On the bright side, I guess fans will finally get to hear Hatchie's new album "Liquorice" 🎵, which I'm sure is going to be super catchy and perfect for a night out... or a weekend of existential dread 😴.

OMG you guys, I'm so stoked for Hatchie's upcoming US concerts 🎉! Her new single "Carousel" is literally giving me all the feels 💔 - it's like she's tapping into this deep emotional space and I am HERE FOR IT 😭. And can we talk about how gorgeous her sound is? Like, have you heard that shoegaze-inspired guitar part in "Carousel"? 🎸 It's giving me major nostalgia for the 90s alt scene. But what I love most about Hatchie is how genuine she seems to be - like, she's not afraid to get vulnerable and honest with her emotions through her music. Can't wait to see her live and experience that energy firsthand! 💖

I'm still reeling from "Carousel" 🤯🎶... I mean, what's with all these dream-pop bands coming out of Australia? Like, don't get me wrong, Hatchie is a total talent, but I was listening to their earlier stuff and now it sounds like everyone's playing the same vibe 🎸. Anyway, back to "Carousel" – that chorus is EVERYTHING! 🤩 I love how it builds up from this ethereal intro... anyway, can we talk about Hatchie's live shows? Have they been anywhere near as epic as her singles?

I'm low-key obsessed with Hatchie's new single "Carousel" 🎸 - those shoegaze vibes are giving me life! She's been gaining so much momentum since her debut, and I'm hyped for her US concerts 🤩 Can't wait to see what she brings to the stage in 2026 🔥

idk about this, i think hatchie is getting too big, like, she's gonna ruin the chill vibe of dream-pop lol 🤔🎶. but at the same time, "carousel" sounds kinda epic and all the collabs on the new album are fire 🔥🎸. i'm still on the fence about the tour tho, maybe it'll be too commercial for my taste 👀. but hey, if hatchie wants to bring her dream-pop magic to america, who am i to judge 🤷‍♀️?

I'm so hyped for this new single but honestly, I think Hatchie is running out of steam 🤯 she's been putting out some solid stuff but it's all kinda getting samey after a while 💔 what's next? I need something with more depth and experimentation from her 👀
