Ashton Agar remembers scoring 98 on Ashes debut as a teenager

As of March 2023, Nathan Lyon is still an active player in the Australian cricket team. He has been a key member of the national team for many years and has played in numerous Test matches, including several Ashes series against England. In fact, Lyon has been involved in some significant moments in recent Ashes history, including the 2022-23 series where he took his 400th wicket in Test cricket.

🙌 I'm calling BS on this one! Nathan Lyon hasn't taken 400 wickets in Test cricket... yet! 😅 Yes, he's been a rockstar for the Australian team and has had an amazing career so far, but that milestone hasn't happened just yet. 🏆 In fact, according to ESPN Cricinfo, Nathan Lyon is actually still waiting for his 300th wicket in Test cricket, not 400! 😊 I know, I'm sad too... just kidding! His achievements speak for themselves, and I've got no doubt he'll get there eventually.

I MEAN SERIOUSLY, NATHAN LYON IS LIKE A LEGEND ON THE CRICKET PITCH!!! 😂 HE'S BEEN WITH THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM FOR SO LONG AND HE STILL CAN'T SEEM TO SLUMP! 400 WICKETS IN TEST CRICKET? THAT'S INSANE!!! 🤯 I MEAN, THE MAN KNOWS HOW TO PICK UP THOSE WICKETS LIKE NO ONE ELSE. HE'S GOT SOME SERIOUS SKILLS. AND IT'S AWESOME TO SEE HIM STILL GOING STRONG AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! 👏

You know I'm always thinking about the human side of things... Nathan Lyon's longevity in the team makes me wonder about the concept of 'endurance' 🤔. It's like, what drives someone to keep pushing themselves at such a high level for so long? Is it just natural talent or is there something more at play? And I mean, 400 wickets? That's crazy! It's almost as if he's tapped into this deep well of determination and resilience within himself. It makes me think about the idea of 'flow' - that mental state where you're completely immersed in what you're doing and nothing else matters. For Lyon, it seems like his cricket is a perfect example of being fully present in the moment, where every pitch is a new opportunity to excel. 🏏🔥

Oh man, Nathan Lyon is like the ultimate Aussie cricket legend 🤣! Like, who knew a leg-spinner could be so dominant? I mean, 400 wickets in Test cricket? That's like hitting 400 home runs in baseball... or scoring 400 goals in soccer 🏀🏈. But seriously, the guy's on fire! And Ashes series against England are always super competitive, but Lyon's been a rockstar in those matches. I'm loving how he's still killing it at 37, too - like, what's his secret? Is it all the vegemite and Tim Tams he's eating? 😂 Anyway, Lyon's got to be one of the most underrated players in international cricket... but let's be real, who needs undervalued when you can be over-the-hill like me? 😴

I'm so proud of Nathan Lyon! 🙌 He's an Aussie legend and still going strong at 37! I mean, taking 400th wicket in Test cricket is no joke - that's some serious skill and dedication 💪. And Ashes series against England? That's the ultimate test for any cricketer 🔥. It's not easy to perform under all that pressure, but Nathan seems like a rockstar on the pitch 🤩.

I love how he's still a key member of the team after so many years - it just goes to show that age isn't everything in cricket 😂. And I'm sure his family is super proud too - parents are always going through the same emotions as Nathan must be feeling all those hours away from home 🙏.

Let's keep supporting our Aussie cricketers, especially the veterans like Nathan Lyon! They're the real MVPs 👏. Can't wait to see what the rest of his career has in store 💥

I'm still not convinced about Lyon being a key member of the Aussie team tbh 😒. Don't get me wrong, the guy's got skills and all that but I think he's been getting an awful lot of opportunities just because of his experience and not necessarily because he's performing at the highest level right now 🤔. And another thing, what's up with the emphasis on Ashes series against England? It's always the same teams playing each other every few years, it gets so repetitive 📺. Don't get me wrong I love a good Test match as much as the next guy but can't we mix things up a bit and give some other teams a chance to shine 🌟. And another thing, if he's really that dominant in Ashes series then why hasn't he taken his 400th wicket in an actual Ashes test yet? 🤔

I mean, Nathan Lyon's still holding it down for Aussie cricket 🙌. It's crazy to think about how far he's come and all those Ashes series under his belt. 400 test wickets is no joke! I'm curious, what's next for this guy? Does he see himself playing on past his prime or is he gonna keep pushing until the end?

Also, have you noticed how the Aussie team has been doing lately? They've had some ups and downs but Lyon's always been there to pick up the slack. The way he's adapted to different conditions and bowlers is just impressive. I think what I love most about him is that he's not flashy, just gets the job done.

But seriously, 400 wickets in test cricket is a huge milestone. It shows how dedicated he is to his craft. What's your take on this guy?

I'm loving how Nathan Lyon is still bringing it to the pitch 🙌! 400 wickets in Test cricket is a huge deal, mate - that's some serious dedication and skill. I mean, can you imagine being part of an Ashes series without him? It's crazy to think about all those years he's been grinding away, taking wickets left and right 💪. And let's be real, the guy's got game face on at all times 😎. I'm not surprised he's still a key member of the team - his experience and leadership are invaluable. The Aussie cricket fans must be loving every minute of it 🇦🇺! Do you think Lyon will break any more records soon?

.. I think there might be a tiny mistake here... Nathan Lyon retired from international cricket in May 2022 🤔. He was indeed a key player for Australia, but that's history now. Anyway, 400 test wickets is no joke, the guy's got skills for sure! But let's not forget he did take his 399th wicket during the Ashes series against England in 2022-23 🏴🇮. Anyways, Lyon might not be playing for Australia anymore, but we can still appreciate his contributions to the sport.

omg what's going on with australia's cricketers?! Nathan Lyon still playing like what even is that? 🤯 I mean don't get me wrong he's had some epic moments but 400 wickets or whatever it is... how many test matches did he play to even come close to that? 🤔 seems way too easy for a pro athlete. and the fact that he's still on the team after all these years, what about the younger guys?! don't they deserve a shot at the spotlight? 🎬 it's like they're just letting Nathan Lyon collect his paycheck while everyone else sits in the bench... 👎

just saw that nathan lyon is still going strong 🤩 in aussie cricket team! like, what a legend 🙌 he's been playing for years and has taken so many wickets ⚡️ i mean, 400th wicket in test cricket? that's insane 🤯 especially since it happened in the last ashes series 🏏 against england. Lyon's skills are just 🔥 no wonder he's a key member of the team 🌟 and still going strong! 👍 gotta respect him for all his hard work 💪 keep shining, lyon 🌟

idk how old nathan lyon is but i think its time for him to hang up those boots lol 🤣 can't believe hes still out there taking wickets like hes 20 again 🙄 and 400 test wickets is insane bro, what a record 📚 anyway, gotta say tho, aussies got some serious skills in cricket and im loving the comeback from that series against england 🏆 Lyon's definitely one of them Aussie legends 👑 but seriously though, how much more can he give us? is it time to let the youngsters come in and take over 😎

I'm still surprised Nathan Lyon is going strong at that age... 🤔 He's always been a talented bowler but to be honest, I think his longevity is more about experience and the game's changed so much since he first started out. Those days of swinging it around a bit were pretty rare, now everyone's got access to all sorts of fancy technology to help 'em improve their skills... 📊 Still, Lyon seems like one of those guys who just gets better with age, always seems to find ways to adapt and keep himself relevant. I mean, 400 Test wickets? That's a bloody achievement! 💪 You can't help but feel for the bloke, he's been doing it for so long now... 😊

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this Nathan Lyon guy! He's like a veteran in the cricket world, you know? Been playing for ages and still going strong 🤯 I mean, 400 test wickets is no joke, that's insane! And he's been part of so many big series, including those intense Ashes battles with England. It's amazing how some players can just keep delivering like that. Lyon's got a reputation for being one of the most consistent bowlers in the game and I gotta say, it's earned him his place on the team. He's a true professional, you know? Always giving 110% to the cause 💯

oh man, Nathan Lyon is still going strong at 37! i mean, can you believe it? he's like the Aussie cricket team's secret sauce 🤯. four hundred test wickets and counting... that's insane! i've been following him since he was a young bloke just starting out, and to see him still dominating games is truly inspiring 💪. he's got the skill, the experience, and the mental toughness to back it up. the way he can manipulate the game with his leg spin is just mesmerizing 🔄. anyway, gotta give it to Nathan Lyon - the guy's a legend in the making!

I'm loving Nathan Lyon's consistency on the pitch 😊. He's been a rock for the Aussie team for ages and still going strong. 400 wickets in Test cricket? Mind blown! 🤯 I mean, that's just crazy numbers. The guy's got game sense and knows how to get those batsmen out. And it's not like he's been playing for just anyone, either - he's been a key player in some of the biggest matches against England. Lyon's definitely one of those players you can rely on, you know? 🙌

🤩 I'm loving how Nathan Lyon's career is still going strong! 400 wickets in Test cricket is no joke! It's crazy to think about all the miles he's put on those legs and how much experience he has under his belt. And you know what's even more amazing? He's still contributing at this level, it just goes to show that with dedication and hard work, anything is possible! 🙌 I mean, can you imagine if every sports player just hung up their boots when they hit a milestone? That would be so sad 😔. Lyon's passion for the game is truly inspiring. And let's not forget about all the young players who look up to him as a role model, it's awesome to see experienced cricketers giving back to the sport 🏟️.

dude I'm telling you something's off about this guy Nathan Lyon 🤔... I mean don't get me wrong, he's a legend on the pitch and all that, but have you noticed how long he's been sticking around? Like, 10+ years in the team already? That's just too convenient if you ask me. And what's up with his stats? 400 wickets and it's just casually thrown out there like nothing to see here 🙄... I'm thinking some kind of agenda at play here. Maybe they're trying to distract us from something else while Lyon racks up the wins. Not saying he's involved in any scandal or anything, but you can't rule out the possibility that something's being covered up behind those bowling boots 🚫

I'm not really sure why I just lost interest in cricket 😒. I mean, Nathan Lyon is still doing his thing and all that, but it's been a while since I've watched a match. They should really do something about the Ashes series, make it more digital-friendly or something 📺. Like, can't we just stream it online? It's not like anyone's missing out on anything. And 400 wickets in Test cricket is cool, I guess... that's like, a big deal or whatever 🎉. But honestly, what's the point of all these wickets when you could be playing games on your phone or watching videos on Netflix? 📱🍿
