Late Friday morning, two women were the target of attempted sexual assaults in the Logan Square neighborhood. The incidents occurred just hours apart, with the first reported at 2:32 a.m. in the 2600 block of North Sawyer Avenue and the second at 3:23 a.m. in the 3100 block of West Schubert Avenue.
According to police, the assailant approached both victims from behind on the sidewalk, using verbal threats and physical force to overpower them. The victims were able to break free when nearby residents heard their screams for help, allowing the suspect to flee on foot.

He is described as being between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium to dark complexion, and weighing around 105-160 pounds. The man was wearing dark gray jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a ski mask when he committed the attacks.
