Benny Blanco's mother unharmed after burglars break into her Los Angeles home; suspects at large

A music industry executive's mother narrowly escaped injury after three masked burglars broke into her home in Los Angeles on Monday night. The LA Police Department confirmed that the woman, who is also the mother-in-law of singer Selena Gomez and married to music producer Benny Blanco, was left shaken but unharmed after she barricaded herself in a bathroom until police arrived.

The suspects entered the two-story house through a shattered sliding glass door at around 9:15pm. Once inside, they ransacked several rooms before fleeing the scene, leaving behind some stolen property that has yet to be identified. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the stolen items to come forward.

Neighborhood records and eyewitness accounts have confirmed that the break-in victim is Blanco's mother. She reported that the intruders kicked open the bathroom door during the incident, sparking concerns for her safety. The LA Police Department is currently reviewing security footage in an attempt to identify the suspects and bring them to justice.

The incident highlights the vulnerability of wealthy homes in Los Angeles and raises questions about the effectiveness of local security measures. As authorities continue their investigation, they are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.

Meanwhile, Blanco's wife Selena Gomez has not publicly commented on the incident, although her mother's ordeal is likely to have left her shaken. The couple's high-profile relationship has been subject to intense media scrutiny in recent years.
