Border Patrol Raided Arizona Medical Aid Site With No Warrant, Showing Growing “Impunity”

In a shocking and disturbing turn of events, US Border Patrol agents raided a humanitarian aid station in Arizona's desert late last month, taking three people into custody without obtaining a warrant. The site, run by the faith-based organization No More Deaths, has been providing medical care to migrants crossing the US-Mexico border for over two decades.

According to video footage taken by No More Deaths, agents arrived at the site around 4:30 pm and claimed they were in "hot pursuit" of suspects. However, eyewitnesses say that there was no reason for the agents to make an arrest en route, as the migrants were inside a building on private property. The agents' justification for not obtaining a warrant was unclear.

The raid marked the third time this year that Border Patrol agents have targeted the site, and the first time they have entered a structure without a warrant. No More Deaths volunteers reported being informed by agents that they had tracked a group of suspected migrants to the location and requested access to make arrests, but were refused entry without a signed warrant.

The raid has raised concerns about growing "impunity" among US immigration enforcement agencies under the Trump administration. Monica Ruiz House, a No More Deaths volunteer, told The Intercept that the warrantless raid was part of a broader pattern of lawlessness and disregard for human rights.

"This is not an isolated incident," said Ruiz House. "There's this frightening pattern of impunity that's happening across the country... whether it's Border Patrol, whether it's ICE agents."

No More Deaths has been working to find the three people taken into custody in the weeks since, but their whereabouts remain unknown. The group's director, Scott Warren, was arrested last year by Border Patrol agents in a similar raid, and later released due to lack of evidence.

The raids have also sparked fears about the treatment of migrants in US custody, with many left stranded without access to medical care or other basic necessities. As one observer noted, "They've disappeared into the ICE custody black hole."

omg 🤯🚨 this is super scary!! 👻😱 how can authorities just barge into a charity site like that? 🤔💔 what about human rights laws?! 📝💼 it's all so confusing 🙄 and now these 3 ppl r missing 🕰️👺 anyone know what happened to them tho? 😞 this is def not an isolated incident 🚨🌪️ we need more accountability 💯🔥

🤕 Another example of the US Border Patrol's blatant disregard for human rights 🚫. Raiding a humanitarian aid station is just plain cruel 😓. Who needs warrants when you're chasing migrants with broken dreams? The fact that this has happened THREE TIMES THIS YEAR already says it all 🙄.

man this is super concerning 🤕, i cant believe us border patrol agents would just raid a humanitarian aid station like that... its not even fair 🙅‍♂️, no more deaths has been doing some amazing work helping those migrants for years and now they're being harassed by the authorities. and whats with the lack of warrants? isnt that kinda basic law enforcement 101? 🤔

i mean we all know there are some issues with immigration policies in the us but this is just ridiculous. its like they think migrants arent human beings or something 😱, and now these people are just "disappearing" into the ice custody system... thats not right. we need to do better as a society, we need to make sure everyone is treated with dignity and respect 🌎.

anyway, i'm keeping an eye on this situation and hoping for justice for those three people who were taken away 🤞

.. this is so messed up 🤯 I mean, these people are just trying to help those crossing the border and now they're being targeted by the Border Patrol? It's like, what's next? They're going to start raiding hospitals or something.

And the thing is, it's not even like they were doing anything wrong. They were providing medical care, for crying out loud! That's what we're supposed to be doing in this country - helping people in need. But no, instead of working together as a society, we've got these agents who are more interested in making arrests and following orders than in actually doing their jobs right.

It's like, where's the accountability here? Where are these people being held for questioning and what are they going to be charged with? It just seems so... arbitrary.

😱 OMG I cant even right now this is soooo disturbing 🤕 the fact that border patrol agents just raided a humanitarian aid station in arizona and took 3 people into custody w/o getting a warrant is literally insane 😲 its like they think they can just do whatever they want and get away with it 💔

i mean whats next? them raiding hospitals or schools? 🚑📚 this is exactly what happened under the trump admin and now its happening again 🙄 and its not just these 3 people who are affected its the whole community that's being hurt 🤝

no more deaths is a legit org that has been helping migrants for years and they deserve so much better than to be treated like this 💖 we need to do something about this ASAP 🔥

can u believe whats going on at the borders 🤯? like no more deaths is just tryin to help ppl & they get raided by border patrol w/o a warrant 🚔👮‍♂️ its so messed up. and now 3 ppl are missin & no one knows where they r 👀💔 these raids cant be just about immigration enforcement, theres clearly some corruption goin on here 💸

i mean i get that border control is a big deal but does it have to come at the expense of human rights 🤝? its like, whats the point of even havin a system if u r just gonna ignore the law & do whatever u want 🙄 these no more deaths ppl are just tryna help & now they r gettin harassed & arrested left & right 😡

anywayz i dont think this is an isolated incident or whatever monica ruiz house is sayin its a pattern of impunity & thats super scary 😱 i mean whats next? 🤔

🚨 Just saw this crazy news about the Border Patrol raiding a humanitarian aid station in Arizona... like what's going on?! 🤯 They took 3 people away without even getting a warrant! No more deaths is just trying to help people who are lost and alone, and these agents come out of nowhere and start arresting them? 🚫 It's just so unfair. I mean, we know Trump's policies have been all over the place when it comes to immigration, but this is just ridiculous. 🤷‍♀️ The fact that they're targeting people who are just trying to get medical help or food is just heartbreaking. And now these 3 people are gone and no one knows where they are? 😕 It's like, what even is the point of all this? Can't we just treat humans with some basic respect? 🙏

🚨🤯 just saw this crazy news about the US Border Patrol raid on a humanitarian aid station 🤕 it's like they're operating outside the law, y'know? No warrant, no reason... just straight-up arrest and detention. It's super worrying that these agents are getting away with this impunity under the Trump admin. They're basically treating migrants like suspects instead of people in need of help 🙅‍♀️

And what really gets me is that No More Deaths volunteers were told they couldn't enter the building without a signed warrant, but still got taken by surprise 🤷‍♀️ it's like the agents thought they could just swoop in and do whatever they want. The fact that three people are still missing is just heartbreaking 😩

We need to know what's going on with our immigration system and how we can hold these agencies accountable 🤝 this kind of behavior can't just be swept under the rug, it's gotta stop! 🚫

idk how authorities can justify raiding a humanitarian aid station w no warrant 🤔. sounds like they're just looking for an excuse to be all aggressive & suppress ppl's rights. whats wrong w giving a group of ppl access 2 medical care when they need it most? this is straight outta some dystopian movie, where the gov't is literally crushing the vulnerable.

Ugh, what's goin' on? 🤯 These Border Patrol agents just raid a humanitarian aid station like they own the place?! They just barge in and take people away without no warrant, no respect for human rights at all... it's wildin'! I remember when we used to talk about freedom of speech and expression, now it feels like nobody's listenin'. These agencies are runnin' wild, like they think they're above the law. What happened to due process, man? 🙄 The fact that No More Deaths volunteers were told they couldn't get in without a signed warrant is just crazy talk! It's like they're makin' it up as they go along. And those three people who got taken away, no one knows where they are... poor souls. 😩

Ugh, this is getting crazy 🤯! Like, what even is going on with those border patrol agents? Raiding a humanitarian aid station and taking people in without a warrant... it's like they think they're above the law or something 😒. I mean, I get that there are serious issues with immigration, but come on, do you have to be so aggressive all the time? 🤷‍♀️ It's just not right.

And now those three people taken into custody are still missing... it's like, what happened to them? Did they even get any kind of trial or justice? 🤔 The whole thing just feels really shady and concerning. And Monica Ruiz House is spot on - there's definitely a pattern of lawlessness going on here that needs to be addressed. We need some real accountability from our immigration enforcement agencies, you know? 💪

omg 🤯 i cant believe whats happening at that aid station in arizona... like what even is going on? 🤔 no more deaths has been doing such amazing work for years and this just shows how reckless and lawless border patrol agents can be. its not right they can just waltz in there without a warrant... doesnt anyone care about human rights anymore? 😩 i remember when we used to talk about the importance of following procedures and respecting people's rights... now it feels like those values are being trampled on 🚫. i hope those 3 ppl taken into custody get out safe tho 🙏

lol what a mess 🤯 the us border patrol is just getting crazier by the day... these agents are basically law enforcement ninjas but instead of being cool they're just breaking all the rules 🚫 like no warrants or due process, it's wild. and no more deaths is just trying to do some good and help people in need, but now their staff and volunteers are getting arrested for it? what's next? 😱 and have you seen those videos of migrants being left stranded without access to medical care or basic necessities? it's heartbreaking 🤕

man this is super messed up 🤕 a humanitarian aid station just gets raided by border patrol agents w/o a warrant? that's like something out of a movie where the heroes are the bad guys 🎥♂️ i mean, these ppl have been providing medical care to migrants for over 20 yrs and now they're getting targeted like this? it's like trump's administration is trying to make america inhospitable to refugees & asylum seekers... the fact that they can just barge in w/o a warrant is terrifying 🚨 and what about the three ppl who got taken away? no one knows where they are or what's happenin 2 them 🤯 this whole thing reeks of impunity & lawlessness i hope no more deaths gets their 3 back safely 💕

omg, this is soooo disturbing!! 🤯 like, no more deaths has been doing such amazing work helping ppl crossing the border and now they're just getting raided by border patrol?!? what's going on in the us government rn?!? 🙅‍♂️ i mean, scott warren got released last year because there was no evidence but still?!? now 3 people are missing and it's like, super scary 🚨

i'm so glad no more deaths is speaking out about this stuff, monica ruiz house is like, totally right 🙌 we need to know what's going on behind the scenes and how these agencies are operating without accountability 😳

anywayz, i just wanna say that no more deaths is doing some amazing work and they deserve all the support 💖 let's keep spreading the word about their good work and also about the issues with border patrol 🤝
