Brighton owner Tony Bloom faces questions over allegations he bet on his own teams

omg, come on, can't people just mind their own biz? like, if bloom is indeed betting on his team, who cares? it's not like he's hurting anyone else 🤷‍♂️. and another thing, if the fa has lax policies, that's not exactly news 🙄. some ppl got rich off of sports betting, why shouldn't bloom be able to too? and btw, if bloom is involved in some shady dealings, wouldn't that be a great opportunity for the fa to step up their game and show they're not all about covering each other's backs 👀.

🤔 This whole thing is just so shady 🤑. I mean, can you believe a billionaire owner of a football team is allegedly betting on their own team? It's like something out of a movie 🎥. The fact that he's denying it, but some people close to him are saying it's entirely false, makes me think there might be some truth to the allegations 🤷‍♂️.

I don't get why more scrutiny isn't being thrown on the FA's handling of betting policies though 🙄. If they're not doing their job properly, then who is? It's like they're just letting the rich guys do whatever they want and then trying to cover it up 💸.

Anyway, if these allegations are true, it could lead to some serious consequences for Bloom 🚫. But let's be real, he's already a pretty big deal in the world of high-stakes betting, so maybe this whole thing is just going to blow over 🎉. Either way, I hope someone gets to the bottom of this and finds out what's really going on 💪.

Umm this is crazy... I mean, if the allegations are true 🤯 then it's a huge problem for the Football Association and the whole betting industry. Tony Bloom is like a legend in professional gambling, but if he's been dodgy all these years, it's a shame. The idea that he might be using frontmen to place bets for his syndicate is just sketchy 🤔.

I get why MPs are calling for an investigation and wanting answers about how he got a "carve-out" deal back in 2014... it seems like a lot of dodgy business 🤑. But at the same time, I'm not sure if the FA's lax policy on gambling money is entirely the problem here? Like, they did grant him some leeway for his own team, but maybe that was necessary to keep him investing in Brighton?

It's also weird that someone like George Cottrell, who used to work with Nigel Farage, is involved in this... does that mean there's more to this story than we know? 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, if the truth comes out, it'll be a big scandal and hopefully leads to some real change in how betting is handled in football. Fingers crossed! 👍

omg u guys i cant even lol this is crazy tony bloom allegedly betting on his own team Brighton & Hove Albion FC 🤯 like isnt that just the ultimate conflict of interest? i mean i know some ppl might say its no big deal but come on £52m winnings thats a lot of cash and if he's not gonna recuse himself from making decisions for the team then whats the point? and whats up with these frontmen they're like the ultimate scapegoats 🤔 i feel bad for george cottrell tho he's already dealing with nigel farage drama enough.

😐 This whole thing just reeks of hypocrisy if you ask me. I mean, Bloom is a billionaire who knows all the angles and manages to get away with allegedly breaking the rules while still raking in millions. Meanwhile, your average punter gets caught and faces severe penalties. 🤑 It's like the FA has a special "get out of jail free" card for people with deep pockets. And what's up with the "carve-out" that allowed him to bet on his own team without restrictions? 🤷‍♂️ That just seems like a way to let him off the hook. If anything, it's time for some real accountability and regulation in the gambling world. 💪
