Chick-fil-A opens first downtown Detroit location - Detroit Metro Times

Chick-fil-A Expands into Downtown Detroit with Its First Location in the Area

A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open its doors in downtown Detroit, bringing more fast food options to the city's central business district. The first location in the area will open at 8 a.m. on January 15th inside the historic First National Building at 660 Woodward Avenue.

The chain plans to hire around 110 employees for the new store, which marks the latest expansion of Chick-fil-A into the Detroit metropolitan area. This move comes hot on the heels of the opening of another location in Ann Arbor last December, with several other restaurants already established throughout the region.

But the new downtown Chick-fil-A isn't just about bringing more jobs and foot traffic to the area; it's also a symbol of the city's growing popularity as a destination for dining and entertainment. The chain has pledged to support local charities through charitable donations, including $50,000 each to Gleaners Community Food Bank, Food Rescue US – Detroit, and the Detroit Public Schools Foundation to benefit the Breithaupt Career and Technical Center Culinary Program.

The downtown location is part of a larger expansion strategy for Chick-fil-A in the region, with the chain now boasting around 20 locations throughout Michigan.

OMG 🀩 just saw this news about chick-fil-a opening up in detroit's downtown area! i'm so hyped!!! it's like, yay more food options for us yungins πŸ”₯πŸ— and also they're supporting local charities which is literally the best part πŸ’– i mean who doesn't love a good cause? plus it's gonna bring more jobs to the area which is def a win-win πŸ€πŸ‘ so fingers crossed they're all set to open on jan 15th can't wait to try their chicken sandwiches πŸ‘Œ

Downtown Detroit just got a whole lot tastier with this new Chick-fil-A πŸ—πŸ‘Œ I'm not surprised though, fast food chains are really popping up everywhere these days. It's cool that they're hiring so many employees too, it's always awesome to see people get a job in the area. But what really gets me is that they're all about giving back to the community, donating $50k each to some amazing local charities 🀝🌟. And let's be real, who doesn't love Chick-fil-A? Their food is on point and it's awesome to see them spreading their wings in a new city. I'm curious to try out this new location and see what all the fuss is about! πŸ’¬

Dude πŸ€ͺ I gotta say, I'm both stoked and skeptical about this new Chick-fil-A location in downtown Detroit πŸ—πŸ‘€. On one hand, it's awesome that they're bringing more jobs and economic growth to the area. 110 employees is no joke! πŸ’Ό But on the other hand, are we really ready for another fast food joint in the heart of the city? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love a good nugget as much as the next guy 🀀, but it feels like Detroit's losing its unique vibe with all these corporate chain restaurants popping up left and right πŸ“ˆ.

And what really gets my goat is that they're tying their expansion to charity donations πŸ™. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for giving back, but can't they just donate the money directly to a good cause instead of using it as a PR stunt? It feels like they're trying to buy their way into the community's heart ❀️.

Still, I gotta admit, it's kinda cool that they're investing in Detroit's future πŸŽ‰. Fingers crossed this new location brings some excitement and energy to the city! πŸ‘

omg u guys!! just saw that chick-fil-a is coming to detroit downtown πŸ€©πŸ— cant wait to try it out! i mean, who doesn't love a good chicken sandwich? and its not just about the food tho, theyre also supporting local charities which is super cool πŸ’šπŸ‘. plus, 110 jobs for the area? that's awesome πŸŽ‰. ann arbor already got one last dec, now detroit gets one too... it feels like chick-fil-a is taking over the midwest πŸ˜‚. 20 locations in michigan now? thats crazy! https://www.bizjournals.com/detroit...chick-fil-a-ann-arbor-opening-january-15.html

omg can't wait to try out that new chick-fil-a downtown 🀩 i mean it's great they're hiring so many people but like come on a 110 ppl is kinda low for such a popular chain right? also hope they do really well with those charity donations, food rescue us and all those schools could use the help 😊
