man this detroit fire lieutenant is just crazy he gets caught claiming overtime pay for hours not even worked which is like a million dollars...and his supervisor was like "oh cool, no problem" meanwhile investigators found out he was actually outside the city during one of those "work hours"...and the chief didn't do anything about it either lol guess that's what happens when you're just trying to get ahead...anyway good on the oig for doing some real investigative work but still, how did this guy even manage to scam the system for so long
It's just not right when people take advantage of the system like this . I mean, I get it, overtime can be a lifesaver for some families, but claiming hours you didn't even work? That's just not cool. And to think that his supervisor didn't do anything about it either... . It's like they were too scared or too lazy to step in. But what really gets me is that the fire commissioner thought it was okay to reverse the decision and let Hill-Harris go back to doing his job without any real accountability. That just sets a bad precedent, you know?
