Dilworth Park’s ice rink and Wintergarden return for the 2025–26 winter season

Dilworth Park Set to Become Winter Wonderland this Season

Starting November 14th, Dilworth Park in Philadelphia's Center City will transform into a festive winter attraction. The park at the base of City Hall will welcome visitors with ice skating, holiday shopping, and cold-weather activities. Over 3.7 million people visited the space last season, making it one of the busiest stops for winter activities in the city.

The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is back with daily sessions until February 22nd, priced at $7 for children under 10 and $10 for adults, with skate rentals available for an additional $10. To make things more convenient, timed 90-minute sessions and locker rentals can be reserved online, with discounts offered for groups.

For those looking to warm up while watching a game or socializing, the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin has been redesigned and expanded. The indoor space now features a refreshed menu, bar service, and TVs for fans. Fire pits on the terrace will also be open to all visitors, making it the perfect spot to relax.

Families can enjoy special events during the holiday season, including two Breakfast with Santa sessions on December 13th and 20th. The events will include a buffet meal, photos with Santa, and time on the ice – reservations are required.

Visitors to Dilworth Park will also have access to the Wintergarden until March 15th. This open-air space features illuminated sculptures, seasonal plants, and warm mulled wine from Chaddsford Winery available for those 21 and older.

The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will return through January 1st, offering a wide range of handmade goods, artwork, jewelry, skincare products, and more made in the region. For more information on hours, events, and ticketing, head to dilworthpark.org.

Dilworth Park will be open from November 14th to March 14th, with the ice rink operating until February 22nd.

omg i cant wait for this winter wonderland to pop up in dilworth park! they're adding so many cool things like fire pits and a bar service in the cabin 🍺😎 that's gonna be a game changer. also, breakfast with santa sessions on dec 13th & 20th? yaaas, who doesn't love sipping hot cocoa while taking pics with santa and enjoying some quality time with fam 🎄👫

🎄 I'm low-key obsessed with Dilworth Park's Winter Wonderland this season! The ice skating and holiday shopping are gonna bring so much joy to Center City. And, tbh, it's crazy how many people came last year – over 3.7 million? 😲 They should def make sure they have enough room for all the festive vibes. I'm also hyped about the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin getting a refresh and those fire pits on the terrace are gonna be EVERYTHING during the game-day events 🏈. And, omg, who wouldn't want to take their kiddos to Breakfast with Santa? It's like the ultimate holiday experience! But, if I'm being real, I'm a little salty that it's only open until March 14th – can't they just keep it going all year round? 🤷‍♀️

I don't know about this whole winter wonderland thing 🤔... I mean, I love Philly as much as the next person, but do we really need another overpriced tourist trap in the middle of Center City? The lines for the ice rink are gonna be insane already, and now you're telling me it's gonna cost $10 to lace up a pair of skates? Not to mention all those people taking selfies with Santa... just when I think Philly is getting back to normal after summer festivals 🙄.

Ugh, great, another excuse for people to overpay for hot chocolate 🍵 and pretend to be festive 😒. I mean, who needs that much money for a skate session? $10? Are you kidding me?! 🤣 And don't even get me started on the crowds... 3.7 million people? That's just crazy! Can't we all just stay home and watch some Netflix instead? 📺 But hey, I guess it's nice to have something to do during the winter blues... as long as you're not trying to get a spot at the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin 😅.

Omg I'm so stoked Dilworth Park is becoming a winter wonderland!!! 🎄😍 I've been looking forward to this all year! Ice skating and shopping in one place? Genius! And the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin sounds like an awesome spot to catch some games with friends. Fire pits on the terrace? Yes, please! 🔥👍 Can't wait to check out the Wintergarden too - illuminated sculptures sound mesmerizing 💡💫 And of course, who can resist a good ol' fashioned Breakfast with Santa session 🎅🍰. Mark my words, Dilworth Park is gonna be the hottest spot in Center City this winter! ❄️☕

I'm so down for this winter wonderland thingy in Dilworth Park! But you know what's even better? Freezing my butt off on that ice rink while wondering why our city can't make ice skating a regular public space, like they do in some European cities 🤔. I mean, it's not like we're short on funds or anything. And another thing, $10 to skate around is steep for this economy 😒. But hey, at least the cabin is getting an upgrade, that's some good news! However, I'm also wondering why they're charging extra for timed sessions and locker rentals. Is it just a way to make us pay more for convenience? 🤷‍♂️ Still, it looks like Dilworth Park is gonna be lit this winter season 💡. Let's hope they keep the events free or low-cost for families, especially those with low-income households 👥.

🎄 I'm so stoked about Dilworth Park becoming a winter wonderland this season! 🌟 It's always a blast to visit during the holidays and now they're adding even more fun activities like ice skating and a holiday market. It's going to be a total game-changer for locals and tourists alike 🎄💫 I mean, can you imagine gliding across the ice rink under all those twinkling lights? Or cozied up with a hot cup of mulled wine by the fire pit, watching the snow fall gently outside? It's like a dream come true! The fact that they're offering timed sessions and locker rentals makes it so much easier to plan ahead, too. And let's not forget about the special events – who wouldn't want to attend a Breakfast with Santa session or browse the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market? 🎅🏼 It's going to be a blast! Another year, another excuse to freeze our butts off in Center City... I mean, who needs personal space and comfort when you can have an overpriced ice skating session for $10? 🤣 But seriously, Dilworth Park is looking like it's gonna be a winter wonderland this season. The addition of the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin with its fancy menu and bar service might just make me warm my bones. And hey, who doesn't love sipping on mulled wine while staring at illuminated sculptures? 🍷 Just don't expect me to join in on those awkward Breakfast with Santa sessions... I'll stick to watching the game from the comfort of my own home, thanks! 🏒

.. I remember when Philly had a real winter wonderland feel back in my day 🎄. This Dilworth Park thingy is gonna bring that back, and it's awesome! Ice skating, shopping, and hot cocoa sounds like a dream come true ❄️. The Cabin area is also so cool (get it? 😂) now with the bar service and fire pits - perfect spot to cozy up on a cold winter's night. And what's not to love about a Santa Breakfast event? 🎅️ The Wintergarden sounds like a magical spot too, all lit up with sculptures and mulled wine for the grown-ups 🍷. My grandkids are gonna have so much fun, I can already imagine 'em running around in their scarves and mittens 😆. This is just what Philly needed to get into the holiday spirit! ❤️
