man this is crazy i feel bad for those tech companies they gotta be so careful with people's personal info but at the same time its like hackers are 1 step ahead , like what can you do? they're already inside the system by using fake documents and spoofed email addresses. and its not just one or two companies that got tricked, apparently even major ones like apple and amazon . and yeah public/private sector coordination is key but sometimes it feels like tech companies are moving too slow to keep up with these hackers .
OMG!!! this is so messed up!! i cant even believe major tech companies like apple and amazon are getting tricked into sharing peoples private data by fake law enforcement officers it's like they're playing a game of cat and mouse with hackers and losing these hackers are using spoofed email addresses, fake docs, and convincing fake domains to get what they want and its so easy for them to bypass traditional verification processes the fact that there are over 18k individual law enforcement agencies in the us makes it super hard for companies to keep up with authentic requests i mean we need better security measures like those secure online portals kodex but until then these hackers will just find ways to exploit the loopholes
I'M SO FED UP WITH THESE HACKERS!!! THEY'RE LIKE SPOOFING THE SYSTEM AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT! I mean, come on tech companies, you gotta do better than just sending over personal info like it's nobodies business! We need to step up our security game and make it way harder for these hackers to get away with this. And can we please, please, PLEASE have some kind of system in place that actually verifies who's requesting the info? I'm not saying we should be paranoid or anything, but I think we gotta take a more careful approach when dealing with sensitive information .
omg u guys this is like so bad i mean i know tech companies gotta do what they gotta do but come on 18k law enforcement agencies in the US?? that's like a recipe for disaster and these hackers r like pros or watever using spoofed email addresses and fake docs to get people's info is straight outta a bad thriller movie i mean i know we need to stay safe online but can't they just use 2FA or something? and what's with these hackers sharing how to bypass verification processes? it sounds like they're trying to help the bad guys
I'm getting so tired of these hackers ! They're like the ultimate tricksters, using spoofed emails and fake docs to get tech companies spilling their guts. It's like they have a PhD in scamming . And with 18k law enforcement agencies in the US, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack to identify legit from fake emails.
I mean, come on! Can't these companies just take a sec to verify who's making the request? It's not that hard . But nope, they're too busy rushing to comply and sharing sensitive info left and right . We need better security measures in place ASAP .
I mean, can you believe this? These hackers are basically using social engineering tactics to trick companies into giving away people's private info . It's like they're playing a game of "cop" and no one's checking their ID lol. And it's not just one company, either - all these major tech companies are getting hit. I don't get why they can't just use two-factor auth or something to prevent this. And what really gets me is that the hackers are sharing tips on how to do this stuff, like it's some kinda hackathon . It's not like they're going to make it harder for people to protect themselves, right? The FBI's trying to improve security and all that, but I guess we still have a long way to go before this sorta thing becomes a thing of the past
