England v Australia: Why Guy Pepper has been on Steve Borthwick's radar since 2022

So I'm watching this vid of Guy Pepper play and I gotta say it's crazy how far he's come! 🤯 He was just six years old and had to stop playing due to arthritis... can you imagine? 🤕 But instead of giving up, he kept pushing through and now he's a key player for Newcastle! 👍

I love that Steve Borthwick saw his potential early on and gave him a chance. It's like, when you're young, you don't even know what you want to do yet, but certain coaches just get it... 🤓

Peppa's got some serious skills though! 💪 I mean, he won Player of the Match awards in two consecutive finals? That's no joke! 😂 And Borthwick says his development over the past year has been "rapid" - rapid is like, a super intense coach term... 🔥

But what I think is most inspiring about Pepper's story is how he keeps going despite all these injuries. Like, arthritis and ankle issues, you'd think that would stop someone from pursuing their dreams... but not him! 💪 He just keeps working hard and pushing through...

This Guy Pepper kid is like a rising star in rugby 🌟 I mean, who wouldn't be impressed with a player who's overcome so much adversity? Six years old and gotta stop playing due to arthritis, then you're back out there at 20+ years old? That's dedication, man! 😅 And now he's like one of England's best back-row players? Borthwick spotted talent in him early on, which is cool, but I think Pepper's had an extra kickstart from his journey. He must be super motivated to prove himself to everyone who doubted him at first 🤔. Anyway, can't wait to see how he does against Australia! England's gonna need all the help they can get 😅
