So I'm watching this vid of Guy Pepper play and I gotta say it's crazy how far he's come!
He was just six years old and had to stop playing due to arthritis... can you imagine?
But instead of giving up, he kept pushing through and now he's a key player for Newcastle!
I love that Steve Borthwick saw his potential early on and gave him a chance. It's like, when you're young, you don't even know what you want to do yet, but certain coaches just get it...
Peppa's got some serious skills though!
I mean, he won Player of the Match awards in two consecutive finals? That's no joke!
And Borthwick says his development over the past year has been "rapid" - rapid is like, a super intense coach term...
But what I think is most inspiring about Pepper's story is how he keeps going despite all these injuries. Like, arthritis and ankle issues, you'd think that would stop someone from pursuing their dreams... but not him!
He just keeps working hard and pushing through...
