I'm worried about this new pesticide epyrifenacil... it's got those forever chemicals, you know? Like, really bad stuff that can hurt us for a long time

. I remember when my kids were young, we used to play outside all day without worrying about getting sick from pesticides or whatever. Now, with all these new 'forever' chemicals coming out, it's like we're taking two steps forward and one step back.
I'm not sure why the EPA is so keen on approving this stuff... I mean, they're supposed to be protecting us, right?

I just don't think it's worth the risk. We need to make sure that any pesticide we use doesn't harm humans or the environment in the long run. It's like, we can't afford to wait and see if something is going to hurt us before we take action... what if it does?
I think the EPA needs to slow down and do more research on this stuff. We need to know for sure that epyrifenacil isn't going to cause any harm before they approve it. And even then, I'm not convinced they're doing enough to mitigate the risks... maybe we should be looking at alternative ways of farming or whatever?
Anyway, I hope people are paying attention to this and making their voices heard. We need to make sure that our government is working for us, not just for big corporations

.
