Five college prospects who could interest the Eagles in the 2026 NFL Draft

The 2026 NFL Draft is already generating buzz as the Philadelphia Eagles continue to scout top talent from college football. Here are five prospects who could interest the Eagles in the upcoming draft:

**Nadame Tucker - Edge Rusher**

Tucker has emerged as one of the most dominant edge rushers in the country, racking up 12 sacks and 4 forced fumbles this season at Western Michigan. A classic speed rusher, he's a top Day 3 prospect with a chance to rise.

**Terrance Carter Jr. - Tight End**

The Eagles' need at tight end is obvious, and Carter could be the perfect solution. The 6'2" Texas Tech star has already made 43 catches for 530 yards and 5 TDs this season, showcasing his receiving chops and run-after-catch ability.

**Yhonzae Pierre - Edge Rusher**

Pierre has put up impressive numbers at Alabama, recording 39 tackles (10.5 for loss), 6 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles. The 6'3" edge rusher wins with speed and counters that with power rushes. If he decides to enter the draft, the Eagles would be a good fit on Day 2.

**Caleb Downs - Safety**

Downs is an ultra-intuitive safety who sees plays before they happen and excels in coverage. A top-ranked prospect by some, he's an ultra-physical player with excellent ball skills (2 INTs each year of college) and enthusiasm for football that shines on the field. The Eagles' lack of a first-round safety in years makes him a intriguing option.

**Omar Cooper Jr. - Wide Receiver**

Cooper has emerged as one of the top receivers in the country, making 58 catches for 804 yards (13.9 YPC) and 11 TDs this season at Indiana. A versatile receiver who can line up outside or in the slot, he's built like a running back with secure hands and the ability to break tackles after the catch.

While some may argue that the Eagles' needs are more pressing on defense, these five prospects could provide a significant boost to their offense in the 2026 NFL Draft.

I think it's cool how they're scouting talent from college football ๐Ÿค”. But, let's fact-check some of these stats, yeah? Like, Nadame Tucker supposedly racking up 12 sacks and 4 forced fumbles at Western Michigan... I checked the stats on his page, and he only has like 6 sacks and 2 forced fumbles ๐Ÿ“Š. Still a strong edge rusher, but not as dominant as they make it out to be. And what's with Omar Cooper Jr.'s speed stats? 13.9 YPC sounds crazy high, doesn't it? I checked the actual numbers, and he averages like 8-9 YPC ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Still a talented receiver, but not as explosive as they claim.

omg i was so hyped when the eagles won super bowl liiiiii ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘...anyway lol i'm lowkey obsessed with the nfl draft rn and the list of prospects has me shook!! Nadame Tucker sounds like a total beast on the edge ๐Ÿคฏ 12 sacks in one season?! that's crazy talk ๐Ÿ˜ฒ also omar cooper jr is another name i've been hearing alot about lately...he seems like he could be our new speedy ace receiver ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ“ˆ

I'm telling you, something fishy is going on with this draft. The Eagles are really reaching for those receivers? Omar Cooper Jr. is like the ultimate 'safe' pick ๐Ÿค”. I mean, sure, he's got great stats and all that, but what if he's just being hyped by the scouts to get a higher draft spot? And don't even get me started on Caleb Downs - safety in the first round? That's like, totally not gonna happen unless they want him for some deeper conspiracy reason ๐Ÿค‘. I'm just saying, it seems like the Eagles are setting up for something...

im lovin the eagles' chances at this draft ๐Ÿคฉ i think they gotta go with tucker or pierre tho, someone's gonna need to replace bryan burns ASAP lol their dline needs an upgrade ๐Ÿ˜… downs is a great pick too but i dont know if they should reach for him just yet. cooper would be amazing on offense, but we all no how good those wrs are ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ
