I mean, imagine walking down the street with an 11 cm long worm living in your eyelid . it's wild how climate change is bringing all these parasites out of their element. I'm surprised it wasn't a bigger deal for this woman, considering how rare this must be. Anyway, its good to know that surgical removal and medication can fix the issue, but what if more people get infected? It's definitely making me think about how our environments are affecting us.

so the woman got lucky she could just get it out surgically. what about those who can't? and how did it even get there in the first place?! a doctor found it moving under her eyelid... like, how is that possible?!
anyway, i guess we should be glad it was resolved without major issues. surgery to remove it sounds like a pretty straightforward process... i mean, at least now they know it's not just affecting dogs anymore

And what's with the fact that this worm was in someone's eyelid to begin with? Did it just magically appear or is there a connection we're not seeing?
