๐Ÿคฃ [Image of a person with a confused expression, surrounded by multiple world maps] ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ˜•
๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ’ธ "Tariffs? Really?" - when you're trying to make friends with the Europeans but keep putting on your 'America's got this' face ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ [Image of a person shrugging] What's up, Vladimir? Still trying to play the 'I'm just a harmless oligarch' card? ๐Ÿคฃ

it's kinda concerning that they're having to discuss all this sensitive stuff like it's just business as usual ๐Ÿค•... i mean, don't get me wrong, diplomacy is important, but shouldn't we be working towards more unity and cooperation rather than just arguing about what's in the best interest of our own country? ๐Ÿค it feels like there's a lot of pressure on these politicians to make tough decisions without really considering the bigger picture... my heart goes out to them, i guess ๐Ÿ’”

so interesting how congressman Turner says the president sees authority like it's some kinda power trip ๐Ÿคฏ and senator warner is all like "we're not making progress" what does that even mean? is it just a case of the us being too tough on europe? or is there something deeper going on?

Just watched this Face The Nation episode and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it ๐Ÿ˜‚. So the president's handling of foreign policy is a total mess, imo. I mean, tariffs are one thing but NATO? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ That's just basic international relations 101. And don't even get me started on Putin... sounds like our prez is just trying to play tough without actually having a plan ๐Ÿ™„.

I'm not surprised that Congress is all over this though - they're always quick to speak out when things go south ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ. But honestly, it's hard to know who to trust right now. Is the prez really committed to strengthening our alliances or is this just another case of " America first"? ๐Ÿค”

Anyway, worth a watch if you want to get up to speed on what's going down in international relations... link: [https://www.cbsnews.com/news/face-t...ner-senator-warner-iran-venezuela-2024-11-10) ๐Ÿ“ฐ

I'm getting old ๐Ÿ™ƒ... remember when foreign policy was actually about diplomacy? Nowadays it feels like we're just shouting at each other across the pond ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ. I mean, I get that the president wants to show strength and all, but can't he see how Vladimir Putin's been playing us like a fiddle? ๐ŸŽธ And what's with the whole NATO thing? It's not like we're some tiny European country trying to defend itself against Russia... we've got the strongest alliance in the world ๐Ÿคฃ. It's just so frustrating when politicians can't even agree on how to talk to each other, let alone actual countries ๐Ÿ—ฟ๏ธ.

omg i cant even imagine how stressful it must be for our president to deal with all these foreign policy issues ๐Ÿคฏโ€โ™‚๏ธ like what if he has to make a decision that might affect millions of people worldwide?? ๐ŸŒŽ anyway, i think congessman turner's point about nato being the strongest alliance is so true ๐Ÿ™Œ our country needs to stick together and support each other in times of need ๐Ÿ’• but at the same time, senator warner makes some really valid points about iran and venezuela ๐Ÿค” we gotta be careful with how we approach these situations so as not to make things worse ๐Ÿšจ

You know what's weird? I was thinking about my old college dorm room the other day... like, how they used to have those super- retro arcade machines in the common area and I spent so many hours playing Galaga on that thing ๐ŸŽฎ. It's crazy how time flies. Anyway, back to geopolitics... speaking of which, have you ever noticed how some politicians always seem to find themselves at odds with each other? Like, is it just a scripted act or what?
