Hands on with Ursa, a new keycap option for Topre keyboards

A game-changer for keyboard enthusiasts, Ursa keycaps have finally hit the market. Available exclusively for Topre keyboards, these innovative caps promise to elevate typing experiences to new heights.

Nathan Edwards, a senior reviews editor at The Verge, has spent countless hours testing the Ursa keycaps and can confidently say that they're a must-buy for anyone with a Topre board. The unique scooped spherical design provides exceptional comfort, while the well-defined edges offer a satisfying typing experience. Even the stem material is noteworthy, as it resists twisting like other aftermarket caps.

The real standout feature of Ursa keycaps, however, is their bottom row. Unlike most keyboards, this part of the board is fully convex – just like the space bar. This creates an unusually comfortable typing surface that sets these caps apart from their competitors.

In addition to their impressive design and functionality, the Ursa keycaps are also available in a range of stylish colors, including cream-and-grey, black with white legends (with optional red or blue modifier keys), and limited-edition retro-inspired brown, green, and cream. Blank versions of classic and black colors are also available.

Pricing for extras starts at $80 for an HHKB, rising to $120 for a full-sized board. A more affordable $8 accent kit is also available in red or blue. With their exceptional quality and value, Ursa keycaps have won over the reviewer's heart – and it's easy to see why.

With the Ursa keycap group buy finally underway, keyboard enthusiasts can now get their hands on these revolutionary caps. Whether you're a seasoned Topre user or just looking for an upgrade, Ursa is definitely worth considering.

I'm so down for this new Ursa keycaps! I mean, who wouldn't want to take their typing game to the next level? 🤩 The fact that they're only compatible with Topre keyboards is kinda a bummer, but hey, if you've got one of those, you're golden. And I love how they're available in different colors - my friend has that retro-inspired brown and it's literally the coolest thing ever 😎. The prices aren't too bad either, especially considering how comfy they are to type on. Nathan Edwards is like a keyboard guru or something, so if he says they're a must-buy, I'm gonna take his word for it 👍.

Just got my hands on the new Ursa keycaps and I'm OBSESSED 🤩! The comfort level is insane, especially on the bottom row which is literally like typing on clouds 😌. The design is super sleek too, love how they went for a more minimalist look without sacrificing any functionality. Nathan Edwards' review nailed it, I was skeptical at first but now I'm hooked 💯. Anyone with a Topre board needs to check these out ASAP!

Aww man, I feel you! I'm so stoked for all the keyboard enthusiasts out there who've been waiting for this moment! $80-$120 can be a bit steep, tho 😬. But if it's gonna make typing a joy, like The Verge reviewer said, then it's def worth it. Those Ursa keycaps sound like game-changers 🎮💻. Can't wait to try them out and see for myself! 💖

I'm so stoked that Ursa keycaps are out, reminds me of those old IBM keyboards I used to play Pac-Man on back in the day 🎮. These new caps sound like they're gonna take typing to a whole new level! The way they're designed, with the concave bottom row, is straight outta sci-fi movie 🚀. And can you believe the prices? $8 for an accent kit? That's crazy cheap, just like those old Apple II computers I used to mess around on as a kid 💻. Anyway, if you've got a Topre board and are due for an upgrade, Ursa is definitely worth checking out...

man I'm like so excited about these new Ursa keycaps 😆 they sound totally awesome! i mean who wouldn't want a comfortable typing experience? that's what it was all about with my old keyboard back in the day - like, the IBM Model M was so iconic and you just got lost in those sweet, clicky keys 🙌

but for real though, this topre board thing is kinda like when I upgraded from my old laptop to a new one back in 2012... it was a total game changer! 💻 now these Ursa keycaps are taking it to the next level. $80 for an HHKB? that's still kinda steep but hey, if you're a die-hard typist like me, it might be worth it 😅

omg u guys, have u seen this graph of topre keyboard sales in the last 2 years? it's like 🚀 through the roof! and now ura keycaps are finally out, it's like the cherry on top 🍒... but seriously, did u know that 9 out of 10 reviewers prefer the comfort of these new caps over their old ones? 🤯 stats show that typing speed and accuracy increase by 15% with ura caps installed! 💨 also, have a look at this breakdown of ura keycap prices: average cost per cap is like $60 which is insane for the quality they offer... 👀
