Hate wins again Mississippi governor signs bill allowing businesses to deny service to gay customers

🤕 This new law is a perfect example of how some people just can't get along with others who are different from them... "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." ~ Martin Luther King Jr. 💔

I'm so worried about this new law 🤕... 45% of Americans think same-sex marriage is wrong, but 59% of millennials support it 😂. Anywayz, did you no that HB1523's gonna impact small biz's too? 22% of small business owners in Mississippi say they're more likely to serve LGBTQ+ patrons if the law changes 🤑.

By the wayz, have you seen this graph from the Human Rights Campaign? 📈 It shows how many states have passed anti-LGBTQ+ laws since 2015... 27 now! 🤯. It's like we're takin' steps backward on human rights 🚫.

Oh, and I just found out that LGBTQ+ folks in Mississippi are more likely to experience mental health issues than straight people 😔. Like, did you know that 60% of trans women in the state have attempted suicide? 💀 It's a travesty 🤷‍♀️.

omg u guys, i cant believe what gov phil bryant just did!!! 🤯 he signed that super discriminatory law into place and now gay couples are gonna be treated unfairly?? its soooo not cool, like whats next?!!?!?! 🙄 im all about freedom of religion and all, but this is like a whole different story. i mean, can u imagine being told ur not welcome in ur own state just cuz u r gay? its heartbreaking 😔. gov bryant is literally trying to justify ppl getting discriminated against, like what even is that? 🤷‍♂️ we need more love and acceptance, not less!!! 💖

🤔 This new law is really troubling me, I mean think about it - businesses can just deny service to gay couples because of who they are? It's like, what's next? A business refusing to sell to people with disabilities or a certain skin color? 🚫 The whole point of the First Amendment is supposed to be protecting our individual rights, not letting companies pick and choose based on their own biases. And Governor Bryant's justifying it by saying it's about exercising his right to freedom, but I don't see how that excuses businesses from treating all customers equally. It's like he's giving license for companies to be discriminatory under the guise of "religious freedom". That's just not fair. 🙄
