Houston man charged after fatally shooting 2 men in Michigan due to buyer's remorse, authorities say

Houston Man's Buyer's Remorse Turns Deadly in Michigan Shooting Spree

A deadly dispute over a Hummer sale turned violent when a Houston man, Terrance Jermaine Sandles, 46, fatally shot two men at a used car dealership in Shelby Township, Michigan. The victims, Marvan Batoo, 40, and Ghaith Baban, 48, were found dead inside the office of Star Auto Sales on November 7.

According to authorities, Sandles had previously purchased the Hummer but later claimed it was a "lemon" after a dispute with the dealership owner over the $3,000 sale. The police chief described the incident as a buyer's remorse turning violent when Sandles returned to the dealership and shot both men at point-blank range.

Sandles fled the scene in a rental vehicle but was later tracked down by surveillance footage showing him calmly leaving the area. Police executed a no-knock warrant at his hotel room, where he was found with several weapons and cash stolen from the car dealership.

Sandles is charged with two counts of premeditated homicide, two counts of armed robbery, and several other charges related to the incident. He has a lengthy criminal record out of Texas, including an outstanding felony warrant related to a shooting in Humble in July.

The Shelby Township Police Department thanked the Michigan State Police, local law enforcement agencies, and the FBI for their assistance in the investigation. Sandles is expected to be extradited to Texas to face his felony charges.

I mean can u believe this guy just went from buying a car to having a massive meltdown that led to 2 deaths lol ๐Ÿ˜‚. I'm all for standing up for ur rights but come on, shooting ppl over a $3k car sale? That's just insane ๐Ÿคฏ. And now he's got a bunch of other charges too, like robbery and whatnot. He's like the poster child for buyer's remorse gone wrong ๐Ÿ’€. The police did good by executing that no-knock warrant tho ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ, didn't wanna wait around to see if he'd do it again. And I guess now he'll be dealing with Texas justice too ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ this just shows how things can spiral out of control when people let emotions get in the way. buyer's remorse can be frustrating, but it's crazy how it led to a shooting spree ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ’€ like what if Sandles had talked things through with the dealership owner or taken some time to calm down before going back? we need to teach people that violence never solves anything ๐Ÿ’” and that sometimes walking away is the best option โฑ๏ธ

Ugh, can you believe this dude's buyer's remorse turned into a mass shooting ๐Ÿคฏ?! Like, what even is wrong with these people? He buys a car, then freaks out when he doesn't like it, and now he's taken out two innocent lives over it ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. And the crazy thing is, he was trying to play it cool while fleeing the scene, like he wasn't even worried about getting caught ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. What a joke! I mean, I've heard of people having buyer's remorse before, but this takes the cake. He should be locked up for life, not just facing charges for his actions ๐Ÿ’”. And what's with the other charges he's got? Armed robbery? Come on, that's just a whole other level of crazy ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Ugh, this guy Terrance Sandles just needs to chill, you know? He buys a Hummer, thinks it's a lemon, and then goes all violent on two dudes who didn't even do anything wrong. I mean, what was he thinking?! ๐Ÿ˜ก He gets a good thing going with the rental car, but then he gets himself caught because of that sweet surveillance footage. And now he's looking at some serious time in Texas, too. ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Oh man ๐Ÿคฏ this just gets crazier by the minute! I mean, dude buys a used car and then decides it's a lemon? Like what did he expect? ๐Ÿ˜‚ And now two people are dead over it? That's just not right, you feel me? ๐Ÿ’” The fact that he had a history of crimes in Texas too makes me think this was some kinda twisted revenge thing. I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into it but it just seems so... calculated. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ What's wrong with people, man? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I'm so over all these guns & gangster stories ๐Ÿคฏโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Like what's going on with people? First it's a Hummer dispute and now this... buyer's remorse turned violent, yikes! I get that the guy was upset about the car deal but shoot 2 people? That's just crazy talk ๐Ÿ˜ฒ. And then he flees in a rental car like he's in a movie ๐Ÿฟโ€โ™‚๏ธ. The surveillance footage shows him calmly leaving the area and no one stops him? What's wrong with these people? ๐Ÿค”. Can't we all just get along, right? ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’€ this guy's buyer's remorse just turned into a mass shooting ๐Ÿคฏ what's wrong with these people? can't even buy a car without losing it ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ and now two innocent lives are gone...๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿค• this just shows how desperate people can get when they feel scammed or misled. I mean, who tries to negotiate a $3k deal on a used car and then turns into a psychopath over it? ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ธ It's like, we all know that buying a used car can be a crapshoot, but you gotta take responsibility for your actions instead of resorting to violence. And what's with the rental vehicle getaway? Did he think he'd just blend in or something? ๐Ÿ˜‚ anyway, glad nobody else got hurt in this senseless tragedy... and hopefully Sandles gets the book thrown at him ๐Ÿ“š

I don't know, I think he's totally justified in what he did... no wait, that's not true. I mean, who buys a Hummer for $3k and then freaks out when they don't like it? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ It sounds like some major buyer's remorse to me! On the other hand, those guys at the dealership were just being super aggressive and confrontational... yeah, no, that can't be right either. I mean, who just walks up to a guy with a gun and starts yelling? ๐Ÿ˜ณ This whole thing is just so complicated and messy... I don't even know what to think anymore! ๐Ÿคฏ

๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ You guys gotta wonder how someone can lose all sense of sanity over a car deal ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ธ. Like, I get it, buyer's remorse is real, but come on! Turning it into a shooting spree? That's just crazy talk ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. And to think he had the nerve to claim the Hummer was a "lemon" ๐Ÿคก. Like, bro, you bought it and now you're gonna shoot people over it? That's not how it works ๐Ÿ™„.

And what's with all the other charges? Armed robbery? Stealing cash from a dealership? That's just adding more fuel to the fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ. It's like he thought he was above the law or something ๐Ÿ˜’. Anyway, at least the cops were able to track him down and make an arrest ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Now let's hope he gets the help he needs and not some harsh sentence ๐Ÿคž.

๐Ÿคฏ This whole thing just goes to show you how messed up things can get when people are all stressed out about some stupid car deal ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. I mean, come on, dude was already having buyer's remorse - what more is he gonna do? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ And now two innocent dudes got taken out... it's just not right, fam ๐Ÿ’”. Can't we just resolve our problems peacefully without resorting to violence? ๐Ÿ™. The guy had a whole rap sheet going on in Texas too... seems like a ticking time bomb waiting to go off ๐Ÿšจ. Glad the cops were able to track him down and get some justice served ๐Ÿ’ฏ, but you gotta wonder how many more people could've gotten hurt if he'd just stayed calm ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ.
