How to watch Rachel Sennott’s ‘I Love LA’: Release date, cast, trailer

Rachel Sennott's latest comedy series "I Love LA" is set to hit HBO this week, offering fans of the "Shiva Baby" star a fresh take on the ups and downs of millennial life in Los Angeles. As the creator, writer, director, and star of the show, Sennott brings her signature relatable brand of comedy to the small screen.

The series follows Maia, a 27-year-old talent manager living with her boyfriend Dylan (Josh Hutcherson) and best friends Charlie (Jordan Firstman) and Alani (True Whitaker), as she navigates how reconnecting with an old college friend Tallulah (Odessa A'zion) affects their relationships. With its outrageous humor, "I Love LA" is bound to resonate with anyone who's ever felt like they're stuck between growing up and figuring out where life takes them.

"I Love LA" premieres on HBO this Sunday at 10:30 PM ET, and for the first time, fans can catch it on both HBO and its streaming service HBO Max. To watch the series without committing to an ad-free subscription, viewers can sign up for a low-cost plan starting at $9.99/month.

The eight-episode series is designed to air weekly on Sundays through December 21, with upcoming guest stars including Leighton Meester, Quenlin Blackwell, and Elijah Wood in various roles. A trailer for the show has already been released, showcasing the comedic chemistry between Sennott's Maia and her castmates.

"I Love LA" is the latest addition to HBO's Sunday night lineup of comedies, following Tim Robinson's "The Chair Company."

omg, I'm low-key excited about this new comedy series on HBO 😊. Rachel Sennott seems like a hilarious writer/director/actress and I love how she's tackling millennial life in LA with her show 🤣. The premise of reconnecting with an old friend causing drama among friends is super relatable, especially for those of us who are mid-30s and trying to figure out our lives 🤔.

But, I gotta say, I'm a bit skeptical about the low-cost plan on HBO Max 🤑. $9.99/month seems like a pretty steep price tag, especially when you're not sure if you'll actually watch all 8 episodes 📺. Still, if the show is as funny and heartwarming as it looks from that trailer, I'm totally down to give it a try 👍. Bring on Sunday nights! 📺

🤣 I'm so stoked that Rachel Sennott is finally bringing her brand of relatable comedy to the big screen! Her show "I Love LA" sounds like a perfect blend of outrageous humor and heart, which is exactly what we need more of in today's world. 🌴 I love how she's not afraid to tackle the ups and downs of millennial life, from navigating friendships to figuring out your career path. And let's be real, who can't relate to feeling stuck between growing up and becoming a functioning adult? 😂

I'm also loving the fact that the show is going to air on HBO and its streaming service, making it more accessible to fans without breaking the bank. $9.99/month is totally reasonable, especially considering how much content we get with our monthly subscriptions these days! 💸 And, yay for guest stars like Leighton Meester and Elijah Wood - I'm intrigued by their roles in the show! 🤔 Overall, "I Love LA" has all the makings of a hilarious and engaging series that's gonna resonate with anyone who's been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. Bring on the laughs and let's get ready for Sunday night comedy nights! 📺

I'm excited to see Rachel Sennott shine on HBO 🤩. Her brand of comedy always feels super relatable, but I'm a bit curious to see how the show tackles some pretty big themes like reconnecting with old friends and navigating relationships. With that said, I'm not sure if 8 episodes is enough time to really dive deep into these issues... might be too much of a shallow dip for my taste 😒. Still looking forward to it though! 💡

Ugh, I know some people are hyped for this show, but let me break it down for you... I mean, I'm sure Rachel Sennott is talented and all, but have you seen her Netflix special? It was pretty funny too. But what's with the "millennial life in Los Angeles" vibe? Can't we just talk about how weird adulthood is without making it all about age groups? And Josh Hutcherson as Maia's boyfriend? He's way too old for that role... I mean, I know he's played younger characters before, but still. Anyway, I guess if you're into that sorta thing, go ahead and watch "I Love LA". 🤷‍♀️ It'll probably be fine 😐

🤣 so another comedy series about millennials in LA, just what we all needed. I mean, who doesn't love watching privileged 20-somethings navigate relationships and careers while sipping matcha lattes? 🍵 But seriously, Rachel Sennott is talented and her show sounds like it'll be a funny take on millennial struggles. The cast looks great too - Josh Hutcherson as the boyfriend, who isn't he from all those Harry Potter movies? 😂 I'm actually kinda excited to see Leighton Meester guest star... fingers crossed she doesn't steal the show! 🤪

🤔 I'm low-key skeptical about this new show 'I Love LA'... like how did Rachel Sennott's life just magically turn into a comedy goldmine? 🤑 She was doing alright with her indie film career and then BAM! Instant Hollywood success. Something fishy is going on, you feel me? 💸 Maybe she's got some connections we don't know about? And what's up with the guest stars dropping one by one like they're all in on some secret? 🤫 I'm not saying it's a conspiracy or anything (okay, who am I kidding?) but something just doesn't add up. Can't wait to watch and see if it lives up to the hype... or is it just a distraction from something bigger? 📺
