How Uman Channeled a Turbulent Year Into Calm Abstraction

I'm so inspired by this exhibition! I love how Uman's art takes you on a journey into her own inner world, and then invites you to reflect on your own emotions and experiences 🤯. As a parent, I'm always trying to teach my kids to explore their feelings and be more self-aware, and Uman's work is like a visual representation of that process 💫.

I also love how the exhibition doesn't try to tell you what to feel or think – it just invites you to slow down and observe 🌊. That's such an important lesson for kids (and adults!) to learn, especially in today's fast-paced world where we're always being bombarded with messages and stimuli.

Uman's use of repurposed street lamps as a motif is also so cool – it just goes to show that even the most ordinary things can be transformed into something beautiful and meaningful 💡. As a parent, I love finding inspiration in everyday life and showing my kids how to find the magic in mundane things 😊.

Overall, I think this exhibition is a must-see for anyone who loves art, self-expression, or just wants to slow down and appreciate the beauty in life 🎨💖

I'm totally fascinated by Uman's latest show 🌟 it's like she's taking us on this introspective journey into her own world, and I love how it's so raw and emotional at the same time. The way she uses colors and textures to convey her feelings is just incredible - I mean, have you ever seen anything like that? 💥 And the fact that she's using industrial objects like street lamps as inspiration is genius... it's like she's turning something mundane into something beautiful. 🌈 What I love most about this show is that it's not about telling us what to think or feel, but more about inviting us to explore our own inner worlds and just be present in the moment. It's so inspiring! 💫

omg uman's art is like soooo beautiful 🌸🎨 she has this amazing way of capturing emotions through her paintings & sculptures it feels like u can literally feel the turmoil & chaos in her work, but at the same time its super calming to look at 😌 i love how she uses this repurposed street lamp as a centerpiece, it's like she took something ordinary & made it into something magical ✨ i also think its really cool that she's not trying to convey some kind of message or moral instruction, she just wants us to slow down & be present in the moment 🙏 i'm definitely going to have to check out her next show when she heads to france 🌴

I'm totally stoked to see an artist like Uman finally getting the solo show she deserves at the Aldrich Museum 🎨👏. Her latest exhibition is so cool, it's like she took all these emotions and thoughts swirling in her head and turned them into this beautiful, calming art piece... but still, you can tell there's depth to it, you know? 😊 It's like she's saying, "Hey, life can be tough, but let's find the beauty in it, even in the darkest moments." And that sculpture with the street lamp is just genius - who wouldn't love a repurposed lamp turned into art? 🤯 I mean, I'm not gonna lie, I got a little teary-eyed looking at some of the pieces... but hey, that's what happens when you create something so honest and beautiful. Can't wait to see where Uman takes her art next! 🗺️

I'm totally not sure about this exhibition... I mean, Uman's art is super calming and beautiful, but at the same time, it feels really personal and emotional 🤔. Like, I get that she's exploring her inner world and all, but some of the pieces feel a bit too perfect for my taste 🙅‍♀️. And don't even get me started on the street lamp sculpture... isn't it kinda weird to use an industrial object like that just because it feels safe or something? 😒 I guess what I'm saying is, maybe her intention wasn't to convey some message or anything, but sometimes I feel like art is supposed to be a bit more provocative or thought-provoking 🤷‍♀️.
