'I have been defeated': hundreds of Palestinians face eviction from East Jerusalem

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this situation in East Jerusalem 🤯. It's like they're playing with people's lives over some historical ownership claim 🤔. I mean, what even is the deal with all these right-wing groups showing up and claiming that Palestinian families are just "illegal squatters"? That's not how it works, fam 💁‍♀️. These guys have been living in Batn al-Hawa for decades, and they've got roots there for real 🌱. And now they're threatening to evict them all? No thanks, Israel 👎.

I'm also worried about Zohair Rajabi, dude 🤞. He's 55 years old, and he's been fighting this battle for over two decades. Can you imagine going through that much stress and anxiety just to hold onto your home? It's heartbreaking 😭. And what's the end goal here, anyway? To drive Palestinians out of their homes and maintain a Jewish majority in East Jerusalem? That's just not cool, Israel 🚫.

It's time for some real leadership from both sides. We need people who are willing to listen to each other and find a solution that works for everyone 🤝. No more evictions, no more divisions. Let's try to get along, Israel 😊.

idk why ppl think its fair 2 force ppl out of their homes just bc they dont have papers lol whats the logic behind dat? seems like israel's tryna change the demographics of east jerusalem 2 suit jewish interests 🤔 meanwhile zohair rajabi & his fam are just trying 2 live their lives in peace 👥 its wild how israel claims its a democracy but acts so discriminatory towards palestinians 😒

🤕 man... this is so sad 😔. Can't believe what's happening in East Jerusalem right now 🤯. I mean, I knew it was a sensitive issue, but to see families getting evicted like this? It's just heartbreaking ❤️. These people have lived there for decades, just like Rajabi's family... and now they're being told to leave? No way, man 🙅‍♂️. It's not fair. The Israeli government is always talking about maintaining a Jewish majority, but what about the rights of the Palestinians? They can't just push them out because of their heritage or anything 🤷‍♂️. I mean, I know there are historical claims to the land and all that... but come on, can't they find a way to compromise? 😔 This is like something out of a bad movie, man 🎥.

🤕 just saw this news and i'm literally shaking my head what's going on in east jerusalem tho?! thousands of ppl facing uncertain futures because some right-wing groups think they can just come in and kick out all the palestinians who've been living there for decades? like, how is that even legal?? 😡

anyway, this guy zohair rajabi is literally my spirit animal he's been fighting to keep his family in batn al-hawa for over 20 years and now he's facing almost certain eviction 🤯 i mean, what even is the point of having a government if they're just gonna do stuff like this? 🙄

i'm not even sure where to start with all the history and politics behind this but basically, it seems like the israeli gov is trying to consolidate control over east jerusalem by driving out all the palestinians who live there... and it's just heartbreaking 🤕
