I mean, I totally agree with this article... but also kinda disagree
? Like, I get why everyone's freaking out about housing costs and student debt, it's a legit problem. But at the same time, can't we just talk about how privileged some people are in this situation? My friend Matt gets to buy an apartment in Brooklyn with his wife at 35? That's not something most people can even dream of

And I'm not sure if I agree that the boomers should be giving their kids handouts or something. Like, I get that it's nice and all, but isn't that just gonna create a whole new set of problems down the line?
But on the other hand, maybe we do need to start thinking about alternative ways to save for homes, like... actually looking into these "buy now, pay later" loans or something? I mean, it's not perfect, but if it means people can own a home at all, who cares, right?
