‘Jeopardy!’ fans can test their knowledge at a weekly bar league in Center City

Local fans of Jeopardy! are invited to put their knowledge to the test at a weekly bar league in Center City. The event, hosted by Geeks Who Drink and taking place every Tuesday from February 17 through June 2, challenges teams to answer questions on their phones during a two-hour game.

The format mirrors that of the popular quiz show, with categories, Daily Doubles, and a final round, all while keeping track of standings throughout the evening. To participate, teams can consist of up to six members and can do so for free.

Games run from 7 to 9 p.m. each week, providing ample time for fans to test their Jeopardy! prowess in a fun and competitive environment. Misconduct Tavern serves as the venue for these weekly events, located at 1801 John F Kennedy Blvd in Philadelphia.

For those who consider "Jeopardy!" more than just a passive viewing experience, this bar league offers a unique opportunity to engage with fellow fans in a lively and interactive setting.

omg i'm so down for that 🤩, can you imagine having a weekly quiz night where u get to show off ur knowledge of jeopardy! 📚️ i think its such a great idea to have teams of up to six members too, that way there's always someone new to team up with or make friends with 👫. and who doesn't love the competitive vibe? i'd def wanna check out Misconduct Tavern as the venue, sounds like a cool spot 🍺. i hope its not too hard to get in though, dont want anyone left out 😊.

I'm low-key hyped about this Jeopardy! bar league 🤩📚 I mean, what's not to love? Get together with friends, test your knowledge, and have a blast competing for bragging rights... or just for the sake of having fun 😊. It's like a mini version of the show, but with more beer pong possibilities 🍺💥. I'm definitely gonna check it out, maybe even find some new trivia buddies 👫👋

🤔 So what's the real issue here? Is it really about having fun or is it about politics... I mean, team size? Why can't we have a smaller group of 3-4 people like we do with our town hall meetings? Six members sounds like a bureaucratic nightmare! It's gotta be more efficient and less expensive for Geeks Who Drink to host these events. Plus, what happens when one person's all about the buzzer and doesn't listen to their team-mates? Is that a free speech issue or just poor communication skills? 📱

🤔 I'm not sure about this whole Jeopardy! bar league thing... sounds like a lot of work for what might be a pretty small prize (I mean, who's really gonna break out because they won $100 on a phone game?). Plus, teams can have up to six members? seems kinda unfair if some people are just winging it. and 7-9 pm games is a bit long... wouldn't wanna be stuck there that late, even for trivia 🕰️

omg i'm so down for this!!! 🤩 they got a weekly bar league for Jeopardy! fanatics in philly?! sounds like so much fun!! teams can be as big as 6 ppl and its free lol what's not to love? 🎉 i wish i had the time to go but my schedule is kinda crazy rn. think its gonna be a great way for ppl to meet new people who share similar interests tho! and its in misconduct tavern which i've been meaning to try out anyway 😊
