I gotta say, I'm kinda shocked at all the hate for Karen Whitsett . Like, people are saying she doesn't do policy and hasn't shown up enough, but isn't that just a normal part of politics? Everyone's always missing sessions or voting against stuff they don't agree with . And honestly, it sounds like some of these critics just want someone to hate on .

Whitsett might not be perfect, but I think we should give her a chance to prove herself before throwing the towel in . We need more people like her who aren't afraid to take a stand for what they believe in, even if it's unpopular . And let's be real, some of these policy issues are super complex - I wouldn't want just anyone making decisions about our economy and healthcare .

It's time for us to stop demonizing people who don't fit the mold of what we think a politician should be . We need diversity in politics, not more of the same old faces . So yeah, let's give Karen Whitsett a chance - or at least, let's give ourselves some time to get to know her better before making up our minds .

I don't know about this Karen Whitsett chick... her record as a state rep is pretty concerning . She's always MIA for policy discussions and doesn't seem to care about Detroit's issues . I'm getting really frustrated with Karen Whitsett's track record, fam. She seems more interested in being absent from policy discussions than actually listening to her constituents. Like, if you're not gonna participate, why should we trust you to make decisions for us? Her lack of attendance is wild - 77% of sessions missed, that's not even trying! And what's up with walking out of the House Reps during a lame-duck session? It's like she doesn't care about the people who elected her.

And don't even get me started on her votes... Medicaid funding cut by $4.8 billion? Defunding SNAP? Environmental programs slashed? That's just cruel, fam. Low-income workers are already struggling, and she's putting their backs against the wall. Not exactly what I'd call "representation" if you ask me.

I think Detroit deserves someone who actually cares about what's going on in that city. Someone who'll roll up their sleeves and fight for the people, not just take a paycheck and collect a paycheck. We need leaders who know policy, know accountability, and are ready to put in the work. Karen Whitsett just ain't it, you feel?
