Key was last seen in the late afternoon of January 24 walking past the Wellington pub on Old Road towards Boscastle Harbour toward the River Valency. Initially, police reported that Key was last spotted at Cobweb Inn around 2:30 pm local time, sitting at the bar with other patrons before leaving alone about an hour later.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for Key's safety, as his family expressed their worry on social media. The department assured that they are treating the situation seriously and are working to confirm the identity of the body through formal identification processes.
As a result, the police department is asking anyone with information or details regarding Alexander's disappearance to come forward.
