They're going after Micron like that over some tech exports? It's just another example of how crazy things are between the US and China right now. I mean, 10% of their revenue comes from China... what did they expect? 
The Chinese government is all about keeping foreign companies in line and making them do what they want.
And let me tell you, it's not like Micron didn't know this was coming. They warned about potential risks last year!

it's like a game of cyber chicken where china's trying to push back against the US tech restrictions 
and microns just gotta navigate this whole thing without losing too much ground 
anyway, this just shows how china's gonna play hardball if they feel like their interests are being threatened. btw, have you noticed how every time china does something suspicious, it's always someone elses problem?
