Mon Laferte, Lunay & Stars Dazzle at Fashion Awards With Willy Chavarría & More Uplifting Moments in Latin Music

Mon Laferte, Lunay, and Willy Chavarría dazzle at Fashion Awards with their stunning outfits. Chilean superstar Mon Laferte stunned in a ruby red leather coat-dress paired with platinum blonde hair, while Puerto Rican artist Lunay donned a zoot suit-inspired metallic olive-tone trench coat - designed by Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarría. "Collaborating with Willy is always a thrill," Lunay said. "Being surrounded by creativity and coming as Willy's guest is such an honor."

Chavarría, who was nominated for designer of the year, used the prestigious event to promote human dignity. His creations are known for sharp tailoring that blends high fashion with street style, oversized silhouettes, and a unique Chicano and Latino flair. The Fashion Awards brought together global stars, including Mahmood and Ellie Goulding.

Meanwhile, Becky G hosted the premiere of her documentary "Rebbeca" at Miracle Theatre in Inglewood on Sunday (Nov. 30). Sponsored by Miracle Theatre and Patrón Tequila, the premiere took place ahead of the film’s nationwide theatrical release on Dec. 10 and 13. Attendees included Wilmer Valderrama, will.i.am, Chiquis Rivera, Dolores Huerta and Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr.

Industry leaders came together for The Rise of Música Mexicana: Lessons for the Global Music Industry, a panel exploring the genre’s exponential growth and its impact on the global music scene. Moderated by Billboard Español's Isabela Raygoza, the discussion featured Lorena Cabral (director, A&R, Downtown Artist & Label Services), Daniel Luna (CEO, D Luna Music), Carlos Santos (label manager and co-founder, K Music), and Jorge Navarro (music partnerships manager, MX & CO, YouTube Music).

Fuerza Regida was honored with the Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award, recognizing their contributions to regional Mexican music and its growing influence on global charts. The award celebrates the band's role in bringing Mexican music into mainstream audiences.

Gloria Trevi Announces Show Celebrating Her Birthday. The event will take place on Feb. 28 at BMO Stadium, and tickets go on sale Friday (Dec. 5) via LiveNation.com.

Mon Laferte's outfit is SO last season 🤣, I mean, a ruby red leather coat-dress is still kinda cute but it's like, old news now 💁‍♀️. Willy Chavarría though, he's on fire 🔥! His designs are actually kinda dope, I love the way he blends street style with high fashion. Lunay's zoot suit-inspired metallic olive-tone trench coat was actually really cool too 🤷‍♂️. But for real, who thought it was a good idea to pair that with platinum blonde hair? 😂 Mon Laferte, you're a legend and all but, girl, tone down the drama 💁‍♀️!

🙌 I'm loving the fashion scene this year! Mon Laferte's ruby red coat was totally 🔥, and Lunay's zoot suit-inspired coat looked so fresh 🎩. But what really caught my attention is Willy Chavarría's designs - he's killing it with that Chicano and Latino flair 💁‍♀️. I love how he blends high fashion with street style to create something truly unique 👗.

And can we talk about Becky G's documentary premiere? 🎥 It's always exciting to see her share her story, and Miracle Theatre did an amazing job hosting the event 🎉. The panel discussion on Música Mexicana was really informative too - I'm all for celebrating Latin music and its growth in the global scene 🌎.

Gloria Trevi's birthday concert is going to be epic 💃! It's awesome that she's taking her fans on a journey through her music and life. And Fuerza Regida getting the Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award was well-deserved - they're doing so much to bring regional Mexican music into mainstream audiences 🎶.

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say Mon Laferte’s outfit was lowkey stunning 🤩 that ruby red leather coat-dress was giving me LIFE. And can we talk about Willy Chavarría for a sec? He’s killing the game with those unique designs 🙌. It feels like he’s bringing this Chicano and Latino flair to high fashion which is super inspiring. I don’t know much about him but I love what I see so far 💯. And Becky G’s documentary premiere looked lit 🎬, loved seeing Wilmer Valderrama and will.i.am there too. The Rise of Música Mexicana panel was also interesting, it’s crazy to think how much music is being made and consumed globally these days 🤯. Fuerza Regida getting that Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award is amazing though 💪. Can’t wait to see Gloria Trevi perform on her birthday show in Feb 🎉

OMG 🤩 Mon Laferte slayed that red leather coat-dress tho! 👗 Ruby red is EVERYTHING 💥 and platinum blonde hair is giving me LIFE 💇‍♀️ Lunay and Willy Chavarría are a dream team, their collab is pure MAGIC ✨ can't wait to see more from them! 🤩 And congrats to Fuerza Regida for that Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award 🎉 they're killing the regional Mexican music scene 💥 and Gloria Trevi's birthday concert sounds like a party we need 🎉🎂 BMO Stadium is gonna be lit 🔥 can't wait to see what other surprises 2025 has in store for us! 😁

OMG, can you believe how far fashion has come? Back in my day, we were lucky if we had a decent pair of jeans and a band tee! But now, these artists are rocking the red carpet like it's nobody's business 💁‍♀️🔥. I love how Mon Laferte and Lunay slayed the Fashion Awards with their stunning outfits – who knew Willy Chavarría could create something so fierce? 😍 And can we talk about Becky G's documentary premiere? The queen is still serving up drama and glamour 🎬💅. But what really gets me is that these artists are using their platforms to promote human dignity and celebrate Latinx culture 💖🌈. It's amazing to see how far we've come, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for these talented individuals 👏

I'm loving the diversity of outfits on the Fashion Awards red carpet 🌹. Mon Laferte slaying in that ruby red leather coat-dress is everything 🔥, but I wish she wouldn't have worn it so tight - it's kinda uncomfortable to look at 😂. Willy Chavarría's designs are always fire 💃, and his collaboration with Lunay looks amazing 🤩. But what really got me was the zoot suit-inspired metallic olive-tone trench coat - talk about making a statement 👕! On a more serious note, it's so cool to see Wilmer Valderrama rocking that outfit too 🙌.

And can we talk about Becky G's documentary "Rebbeca" premiere? I'm all for supporting our Latina artists 💖. But what's up with the Patrón Tequila sponsorship? Don't get me wrong, it's a great brand, but sometimes you feel like they're trying too hard to be relevant 🤷‍♀️.

The Rise of Música Mexicana panel was so insightful 🔍. I love how Lorena Cabral spoke about the importance of A&R services for emerging artists 💖. And can we give it up for Fuerza Regida? They deserve that Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award so much 🎉.

Lastly, Gloria Trevi's birthday concert announcement has me hyped 🎉! I need to get those tickets ASAP ⏰. It's going to be a celebration like no other 💃!

You know what's wild? I was just thinking about how much I love trying new foods while traveling 🤯. I went to this tiny food truck festival in LA last month and tried the most insane Korean tacos, man... they were like a flavor bomb just waiting to happen 😂. And have you ever noticed how some of the best street food is from places that aren't even super touristy? It's all about finding those hidden gems, you know? 📍 Anyway, I was looking at Mon Laferte's outfit at the Fashion Awards and I'm like, what's up with all the metallics lately? Is it just me or has everyone gone full-on glam metal 💎.

I'm not surprised by how well Mon Laferte and Lunay slayed the Fashion Awards 🤩👗. Their outfits were fire 🔥, and Willy Chavarría's designs are always a masterclass in blending high fashion with street style. I love how he used his platform to promote human dignity 💖.

It's also awesome that Becky G is using her documentary "Rebbeca" to raise awareness about important issues 📺. And I'm so hyped for Gloria Trevi's birthday concert 🎉! Fuerza Regida getting the Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award is a huge deal too 🙌, it shows that Latin music is taking over the world 🌎.

But let's be real, the fashion industry still has so much work to do when it comes to diversity and inclusivity 🤷‍♀️. There were no people of color or non-binary models on the red carpet, which is a major disappointment 😔. We need more representation in all industries, not just fashion 💪.

On the other hand, I'm loving the growth of Música Mexicana right now 🎶! It's amazing to see artists like Wilmer Valderrama and will.i.am rocking Latin sounds 🤟. The panel discussion at Miracle Theatre was also super informative, it's great to see industry leaders coming together to talk about the future of Latin music 🔓.

Overall, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about the future of Latin culture 💫, but we still have a long way to go before everything is perfect 😊.

I'm also hyped for Becky G's doc premiere 📚, and it's so cool to see Fuerza Regida getting that Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award 🙌. Gloria Trevi's birthday concert is going to be lit 🔥 can't wait to get tickets! And Gloria Trevi announcing a show for her birthday? 🎉 I'm so down for another celebration with this legend!

I'm so over these Fashion Awards 🤯👗. Can't they just mix up the outfits a bit? I mean, ruby red leather coat-dress and platinum blonde hair? It's like they raided a reject pile from 80s rockstar era... Mon Laferte needs to update her style game ASAP 💁‍♀️.

And what's with Willy Chavarría's designs being all over the place? He tries too hard with that Chicano and Latino flair, you know? It's like he's trying to fit into a box instead of breaking free from trends. Oversized silhouettes are so last season... 🙄.

But hey, at least Becky G's documentary premiere was lit 🔥🎬! And I love how they're bringing attention to Fuerza Regida and their contributions to regional Mexican music. That Harvard-Radcliffe RAZA Trailblazer Award is long overdue 💪!

Gloria Trevi's birthday concert sounds like so much fun 🎉🎂! Can't wait to see her slay the stage again 👸. But, seriously, Fashion Awards? More like Fast Fashion disasters 😒
