Following the Bruins' 5-2 victory over the Blues, Boston center Morgan Geekie got his revenge on social media by roasting the Blues' team online after a seemingly innocuous jab about the cold weather in St. Louis.
The Blues initially made light of Geekie's pre-game attire, posting a photo of the temperature reading (47 degrees) above the image of the winger wearing a puffer jacket. However, that was all it took for Geekie to strike back.
With a sly grin on his face, Geekie shared a photo of teammate Mark Kastelic's stat line from the game, which included two goals against the Blues. He cleverly captioned the tweet with "This 47," referring to both the temperature in St. Louis and Kastelic's jersey number.
