Ugh, $1.3 billion is still way too much money for a company that's just gonna invest it back into themselves or use it to pay off debt . Diversified Energy needs to focus on becoming more sustainable, like investing in renewable energy sources instead of relying on natural gas ️. They're not even addressing the whole climate crisis thing, which is super irresponsible . And don't even get me started on the environmental impact of drilling for natural gas... it's gonna be a mess . Anyway, I guess this acquisition will just make the US natural gas market more dominated by corporate interests .
Ugh this is crazy i mean $1.3 billion is a huge amount of cash just flying out of Diversified Energy's pockets like there's no tomorrow for Maverick Natural Resources to even begin with i'm not even sure why they're doing it maybe they think the US natural gas market is gonna just keep growing forever idk lol and what about all these conventional and unconventional assets they got in Texas and Oklahoma are those things even worth $1.3 billion or is that just a wild guess lol anyway i think this deal is actually kinda interesting for Diversified Energy to be able to expand its operations and reach into new markets but like at the same time it's also super scary what if they can't make it work and end up losing all their cash like a gazillion dollars
Just saw that Diversified Energy is buying Maverick Natural Resources for $1.3 billion . That's a big chunk of change. I'm not surprised they're doing this, though - natural gas is becoming super important in the US and Diversified Energy wants to be part of it. The deal is expected to help them expand into new markets, which is good for competition in the sector. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, but on paper, it looks like a solid move
man this is huge news! $1.3 billion is a crazy amount for energy company and I'm curious what they're gonna do with all that power . Maverick's got some sweet spots in Texas and Oklahoma, so I guess it makes sense for Diversified Energy to expand their reach there. the US natural gas market is heating up (pun intended) and I think this acquisition could be a game changer for both companies... fingers crossed they can make the most of it
