Oppo's massive 7,500mAh battery finally hits European shores on the Find X9 Pro, offering an unparalleled power experience in a flagship device. Unlike some other Chinese phones that suffer from reduced battery capacity when launched globally, Oppo has stuck to its guns with no compromise in terms of battery life for the new models.
The Oppo Find X9 boasts a 7,025mAh battery, which is still an impressive capacity on its own. However, it's the Pro model that takes the cake, boasting a whopping 7,500mAh battery. The author had the opportunity to review the Pro and was blown away by its battery life - even with the always-on display turned off, it lasted for three full days. When paired with the display on, it handled two use cases quite comfortably.
The reason behind this impressive longevity lies in the adoption of silicon-carbon batteries, which results in both phones being thinner without sacrificing any significant power output. This is a major win considering they are even slimmer than the iPhone 17 Pro.
In terms of camera capabilities, Oppo has certainly not let its design compromise on performance. The Pro model comes with a stunning 200-megapixel 3x telephoto lens and features impressive regular cameras as well - each having large sensors and fast apertures across the board. What's more, the Pro gets an optional telephoto extender lens accessory that can be used to enhance its already high-performance camera capabilities.
The phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip and come in Europe with 512GB of storage. They share similar aesthetics as well - both have rounded circle camera modules and flat-edged displays, albeit with slight variations between the Pro model and its standard counterpart (the Find X9's 6.59-inch display is slightly smaller than the Pro's 6.78-inch screen). Both devices come equipped with IP69 ratings and support 80W wired charging. However, magnetic Qi2 charging does not seem to be an option for these phones.
Last but not least, both devices are shipped with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The Find X9 can now be ordered in the UK and Europe - priced at £899/€999 (approximately $1,200), while its Pro sibling commands a higher price of £1,099/€1,299 (around $1,500).
