Philadelphia Eagles' 2027 Draft Picking Landscape Shifts with Multiple Trades
The Philadelphia Eagles have made significant changes to their 2027 NFL draft picks, trading away four players and acquiring new talent in the process. The team now boasts a total of eight picks in the highly anticipated draft, setting up an intriguing selection process for GM Howie Roseman.
One of the most notable trades saw the Eagles part with quarterback Sam Howell in exchange for fifth-round pick in 2026 and seventh-round pick in 2027 from the Minnesota Vikings. However, due to the conditional nature of these picks, their terms remain unknown at this point.
The Eagles also traded offensive lineman Darian Kinnard to Green Bay in a deal that netted them a sixth-round pick in 2027. Another trade with New York Jets saw cornerback Michael Carter become an Eagle, resulting in the Eagles sending away either one of their or the Packers' sixth-round picks to complete the swap. In return, the Jets provided the Eagles with a seventh-round pick.
In another transaction, the Ravens acquired cornerback Jaire Alexander and a 2027 seventh-round pick from Philadelphia in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick. This latest trade has now reshaped the Eagles' draft landscape further.
Here is an updated table showing each of the Eagles' picks:
