Philadelphia Police Hunt for Armed Suspect Linked to Deadly Tow Truck Driver Shootings
A $20,000 reward has been offered by Philadelphia police for information leading to the capture of Najee Williams, a 27-year-old man accused of involvement in two separate fatal shootings targeting tow truck drivers. The investigation is focused on the possibility that these incidents may be connected.
On December 22, officers responded to a shooting at 4200 Torresdale Avenue in East Frankford, where they found a tow truck driver with severe gunshot wounds. David Garcia-Morales, 20, was taken to Temple University Hospital and died four days later. Surveillance footage identified Williams as the suspect, who is believed to be the owner of N.K.W Towing & Recovery LLC.
Just over a month later, on January 11, another tow truck driver, Aaron Whitfield, 25, was found dead inside his tow truck with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body. A 21-year-old woman was also shot in the incident and is currently in stable condition. The police are now investigating whether Williams may be linked to a third fatal shooting of a tow truck driver that occurred in November.
"We believe there's some kind of connection between these incidents," said Ernest Ransom, commanding officer of the Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit. "We're not ready to confirm this yet, but we're working towards it." Williams is considered armed and dangerous, and police warn the public against approaching him.

. I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but it does seem suspicious that these incidents happened in such a short time span 
. The police are doing their best to connect the dots and figure out what's going on, so let's hope they get some info soon

its so sad to hear about these young men and their families who are having to deal with this trauma the police should be doing everything in their power to catch whoever is behind these shootings and bring them to justice ASAP 
20k reward may not seem like a lot but it shows theyre trying i wish something like that was done for the families of the victims too
I'm not saying he's totally innocent or anything but this $20k reward for info leading to his capture feels kinda harsh, like they're assuming he's guilty before even talking to him. What if he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time?

The fact that this guy is considered armed and dangerous should've been a dead giveaway from the start. 20k reward for info leading to his capture? Please, I'm sure it'll take an eternity to catch him... meanwhile, innocent lives lost
