Police block Ukip march through Tower Hamlets over violence fears

I'm not sure about this decision... seems like they're being super cautious 🤔. Can't say I agree with the "not a full-blown ban" part though - I mean, if you're worried enough to restrict it, why not just call it a ban? And what's with all these conditions? Is that really necessary? 🤷‍♂️ Also, I feel for Ukip supporters who want to exercise their right to protest... but at the same time, safety should be the top priority 💡.

Ugh, this is like something straight outta Hunger Games 🤯 where Scotland Yard is all "Hey, we're not gonna let you march, but you can still attend this alternative event... if you don't have any hate groups with you 😒". I mean, it's better than letting things boil over into violence, I guess? But can't they just ban the whole thing and be done with it? It's like, they're trying to find a way to appease everyone while still keeping people safe. And what's up with the condition that attendees believed to be connected to Ukip could face arrest? Like, isn't that a bit heavy-handed? 🙅‍♂️ Still, you can't deny the tension in Tower Hamlets has been building for months, and it's just waiting for something like this to happen. Fingers crossed everyone stays peaceful 🤞
