Post your questions for Peaches

Peaches, AKA Merrill Nisker, is set to take the stage by storm with a 27-date North American tour and the release of her first album in a decade. The enigmatic artist has been making waves in the music scene for decades, leaving an indelible mark on the electroclash movement.

From humble beginnings as part of Toronto's underground scene, Peaches emerged in the late 1990s alongside fellow musicians such as Feist, who would later become her flatmate above a sex shop. However, it was Peaches' move to Berlin that catapulted her to mainstream fame in the early 2000s.

Her debut album, The Teaches of Peaches, marked the beginning of an illustrious career marked by brilliant album titles and collaborations with the likes of Iggy Pop, Soulwax, and Kim Gordon. Albums like Fatherfucker, Impeach My Bush, I Feel Cream, and Rub showcased her unique blend of dance-punk and raw energy.

A decade has passed since her last studio release, but Peaches is back in the spotlight, with a new album titled No Lube So Rude set to drop in 2026. The follow-up single, Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business, has been widely praised for its powerful message of liberation and resistance.

As part of her tour, Peaches is committed to raising awareness and funds for trans rights organizations. Fans can expect a dynamic live show that's equal parts infectious and unapologetic.

But before Peaches embarks on this new chapter in her career, she wants to hear from you. The artist will be answering your questions in an upcoming edition of the Film & Music section, which will also feature a video preview of her new music.
