'Premium but not ostentatious': the best extra virgin olive oils to gift instead of wine

olive oil as a luxury gift? how original 🙄. like the world was just missing a fancy oil to go along with our fancy wine and cheese nights... anyway, i guess if you're gonna spend £52.99 on a bottle of oil, might as well get one from selfridges that comes in a fancy box, right? but seriously, if you're looking for something more affordable, the dellis honest toil mini is actually pretty decent at £3.20... still, it's all about presentation, i guess 🤷‍♀️, like who needs an industrial-sized tin of oil to impress their friends or family?

omg u guys i'm literally DYING over these new olive oil gifts lol 😂 they're soooo good! i mean who wouldn't want a fancy bottle of extra virgin goodness in their kitchen 🍴? personally i'm low-key obsessed with korontini from dellie it's like £20 for a big tin and it's literally perfect for cooking or just having on hand when u need a flavor boost 🤩 and that two fields oil is insane too!! £19.50 for an award-winning oil in a box? yes pls! 🎁

Ugh, great, just what we need more overpriced gifts 🤦‍♂️... I mean, who needs that kind of money for some fancy bottle of olive oil? £52.99 is crazy! You could buy a whole pizza or something for that price 😂. And don't even get me started on the marketing - "with a strong personality" ? More like "expensive and overhyped" 💸. I'm just gonna stick with my cheap Delli's oil, thanks 🙅‍♂️. Not everyone needs some fancy-schmancy gift to impress their friends and family, you know?

I'm thinking of getting some olive oils as gifts 🤔. I mean, who doesn't love good food and nice packaging, right? 😊. So, like, I've been doing some research and I found this really cool stuff - a graph showing the different prices and options for each brand 💸.

* Delli's Honest Toil mini oil: £3.20 (cheaper but still good quality)
* Korontini industrial-sized tin: £20 (for a big group, perfect!)
* Two Fields: £19.50 (awarded by fancy label, might impress foodies 🤩)
* APC x Château de Montfrin oil: £20 (strong personality, huh? 😎)
* Estoublon from Selfridges: £52.99 (luxurious box, perfect for standing out 👑)

I'm thinking of getting a mix-and-match approach - like, some smaller bottles for friends and family, and one or two bigger ones for the more special people on my list 🤝. That way I can spread the love and show everyone I care 😊.

🤯 can we talk about how weird it is that people are getting expensive olive oils as gifts now? like, I mean I get it if someone loves cooking and wants to splurge, but £52.99?! that's just nuts 🤑 it's basically a fancy bottle of vodka, right?
