Qatar PM calls Gaza ceasefire violations ‘disappointing’

Qatar's Prime Minister says a ceasefire in Gaza is disappointing, despite yesterday's violations, as mediators move forward with the next phase of the truce.

In remarks at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed Al Thani expressed his country's disappointment at the recent breaches of the fragile ceasefire. He stated that efforts to disarm Hamas remain a key component of the agreement.

I'm not sure what's going on with this whole Gaza situation 🤔. One minute you're all calm, next you're breaking the ceasefire and it's back to square one ⚔️. I feel like we've seen this movie before, you know? It's like they're trying to rewrite the script every five minutes 📺.

I'm not gonna lie, Qatar's PM seems pretty frustrated right now 😒. Disappointment is an understatement - it's more like "what are you even doing?" 😂. I get that disarmament is a big deal for them, but can't we all just try to coexist peacefully for once? 🤗 It's like they're stuck in this never-ending loop of violence and retaliation 🔁.

I'm keeping my eyes on the mediators - are they even making progress? 💡 Or am I just stuck in a Groundhog Day-esque nightmare 🌫️.

🤔 I feel like we're getting nowhere fast with this whole Gaza thing. One day it's all calm and quiet, next day some fireworks start going off again... 🎇 It's just so frustrating. I mean, I get that disarming Hamas is a big deal, but can't they just talk to each other like normal humans? 😩

It seems like every time things seem to be heading in the right direction, something happens and we're back to square one. I guess it's just the way these conflicts work, though. 🤷‍♂️ The thing is, I feel for both sides - Israel has got some serious security concerns and Palestine has been through so much trauma... it's hard to know who to root for anymore 🤔.

I'm kinda shocked by this news 🤔. A ceasefire in Gaza is supposed to be a huge relief, and then you find out the PM from Qatar isn't feeling it 😒. I get why they'd be disappointed - those breaches are like rubbing salt in the wound 💔. But honestly, what's the next phase gonna look like? Is disarmament of Hamas even possible at this point? It feels like we're just kicking the can down the road again 🕰️. And what about the people on the ground? They're still suffering and dying because of all these agreements and negotiations... it's hard not to feel frustrated 😤. I wish there was a way to get more than just words on paper and make real progress 💪.

🤔 I'm not buying this whole "disappointment" thing from Qatar's PM. If they're saying it's disappointing, what exactly is expected in return? The fact that mediators are still trying to move forward with the next phase of the truce suggests to me that there's more to this story than just words. 🤷‍♂️

I mean, think about it - Hamas is a major player here, and if disarming them is such a key component, why isn't Qatar using its influence to get that done? It seems like a convenient excuse to me. What are the real stakes here? Who's getting what concessions from this truce? 🤔

And what about all these "violations" that supposedly happened yesterday? Where are the sources on those? Are we supposed to just take Qatar's word for it? I don't think so. We need more info before we can even start talking about a ceasefire being disappointing. 💡

OMG 🤯 what's going on in Gaza? I mean I know it's been a super tricky situation for ages but this new ceasefire thing seems like it was just a tiny step forward and now Qatargov is all like "meh" 😐 I don't get why they're disappointed tho didn't they agree to the whole disarmament thing with Hamas? 🤔 Wasn't that part of the deal? It feels like they're not even trying anymore 💸 I mean, what's the point of having a ceasefire if nobody's gonna follow it? 🚫 And who do you think is supposed to enforce this stuff anyway? The UN or whoever? 🤷‍♀️ I feel like we'll be hearing about more breaches and breakdowns before this whole thing even gets off the ground 🌐

Wow 🤯 Gaza ceasefire has been super complicated from the start 🌪️. I mean, one day it's all calm and peaceful and the next day it's like, rockets flying everywhere 🚀. It's hard for me to keep track of what's going on. I feel like the situation is just so... delicate 💎. And now Qatar's PM is saying that this latest ceasefire thingy is disappointing? Interesting 😐. Like, I get it, there have been some breaches and all that, but you'd think they'd be trying to make progress or something 🤔. Disarming Hamas sounds like a tough nut to crack 🥜. I hope the mediators can figure out a way to make this work because if not, we're gonna see more suffering 💔😩.

omg i cant believe qatar is already saying that ceasefire deal is disappointing like didnt we just learn from the last war how hard it is to keep the peace?? 🤯 and whats with disarming hamsom? dont they have enough to deal with already? its all so messy 🌀 meanwhile im just sitting here thinking about the humanitarian crisis in gaza and how we need more efforts to help those ppl 😔

I'm not surprised by Qatar's reaction 🤔... I mean, can you blame them? A ceasefire is only as strong as its weakest link and if one side keeps breaking it, what's the point? 😐 I was reading through some comments on Twitter and people were saying that Qatar should just calm down and give Hamas time to disarm. But honestly, I think it's more complex than that 💭... there are so many different factions and interests at play here. I've been following this conflict for a while now and it feels like every time you think things are starting to cool off, something else happens 🔥... do we really think Hamas is just going to magically disarm themselves? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 so what's up with this ceasefire thingy? it sounds like qatar's all happy to just chill out and talk about disarming hamas, but then they're all mad because there were some violations 🤷‍♂️. i feel like we should get more info on what those violations were and who was behind them. is it just a minor thing or is something bigger going on? also, what's the deal with this "next phase of the truce" part? are they gonna have some big meeting to figure stuff out? 🤝

i'm curious about how qatar's pm thinks this ceasefire is going to help, considering all the breaches. didn't it sound like a good idea in the first place? and what's with hamas being a "key component of the agreement"? does that mean they're just gonna be allowed to keep their guns and stuff? 🎯

can we get some more context on this? why is qatar so interested in disarmament and how do you think it'll affect the whole situation? 🤓
