Ugh I dont get why people are going crazy over this album Radu Lupu was defo not that special to me hes got some nice moments but theyre pretty scattered throughout his discog Im not impressed by the fact that Decca dug up all these unreleased tracks Id rather have some new music from actual contemporary pianists

I'm so stoked about this release 
! I mean, who wouldn't want to hear some of the most iconic pieces in classical music from a legendary pianist like Radu Lupu? The fact that these recordings have been sitting in Decca's vaults for all those years is just crazy – it's like they're giving us a special gift 
. I've already listened to the Mozart and Haydn discs, and I'm totally blown away by how beautifully Lupu brings out the nuances of each piece. The Chopin Scherzo is so intense and emotional, it gives me chills

I've been listening to classical music since my kids were little and they loved Radu Lupu's playing too My son still asks me if he can listen to some of his recordings, it brings back memories 
This collection is like a treasure chest for pianophiles like us. I love that it includes some of the lesser-known pieces, it makes me feel like I'm discovering new music all over again
