Roblox, James Bond and a billion-dollar video game – here are our most-read gaming stories of 2025

I'm really disturbed by what I just read about Roblox 🤯. It's crazy to think that kids can stumble into some super shady stuff while playing it. Like, how are parents supposed to keep an eye on their little ones when they're playing something with 150 million daily users? 😱 And what's up with the fact that someone spent 12 hours playing a game and now thinks it's 'vindicated' for being obsessive 🤪... I don't get it. Can't we just focus on keeping kids safe online instead of romanticizing excessive gaming habits? 😔

seen all these articles on games and gaming culture 🤔 just think about how much time we waste playing Roblox and other games with weird stuff going on... 📚 should we be worried about kids getting into bad situations online? 🤷‍♂️ also, what's up with Sega's Master System console being underrated? 🎮 gotta respect the old-school gamers 👍

I'm still stuck on this whole Roblox thing 🤯. I mean, what's going on with all these minors getting into some sketchy stuff? It's like, we knew it was a problem when the game first came out back in 2004... or was it 2010? Wait, no, it was way longer ago than that 🙄. Anyway, The Guardian's coverage of this is spot on, imo. We need to talk about this more.

And omg, have you seen those old Sega Master System consoles? I've got a friend who still has one from the '80s... that thing's like, ancient tech compared to now 🤪. But I guess Keith Stuart was right, it did have its time in Europe and stuff. I mean, I remember playing on an NES back in the day, but my cousin had a Master System too... good times.

It's wild that Trump's White House is using video game memes for recruitment purposes, btw 🤷‍♂️. Not sure what to make of that one. But hey, at least it's not like they're using Pokémon or something 🙄. The James Bond game interview was pretty cool, though... have you played 007 First Light? It looks awesome!

And I'm glad someone's talking about seniors playing video games 🤝. My grandma plays World of Warcraft with me sometimes... she's actually really good at it 😂. I guess gaming can be beneficial for older folks too.

Lastly, I'm still confused about why people invert their controls while gaming 🤔. Is it just a thing that's become normal or what? And Star Citizen? Still waiting to see if they'll finally finish the game... wish me luck 💪!

🤔 people should be more careful when playing online games esp kids i mean roblox has like 150 million daily users mostly minors thats a lot of young minds exposed to bad stuff 😬

I'm kinda surprised by how much attention Roblox is getting lately 🤔. I mean, yeah it's a big deal that some kids are getting into some sketchy stuff on there, but like, isn't that just part of the platform? I don't think The Guardian should be totally harshing on devs who make games for minors... they're just trying to provide an outlet, right? 🤷‍♀️ Also, can we talk about how Sega's Master System console is getting some serious love now? Like, it's about time its awesomeness was recognized, but a bit late, if you ask me 😎
