The passing of Bob Mullen and Dr. Thomas Fogarty is a huge loss for the local wine community. I mean, can you imagine the region without these two legends? It's crazy to think that Mullen was instrumental in starting the winery movement back in 1963, paving the way for future generations. And then there's Dr. Fogarty's groundbreaking work in medicine - it's mind-blowing to think about all the lives he touched. The fact that his family continues to carry on his legacy through the winery is a testament to his impact. What I find really inspiring is how their stories will continue to shape the wine industry in Santa Cruz Mountains, and we'll always remember their contributions. It's a reminder that even though they're no longer with us, their memories and achievements will live on forever
so sad to hear about these 2 legends gone robert mullen was a total pioneer in the santa cruz mountains wine scene his innovation & commitment to quality helped pave the way for future winemakers and dr tom fogarty was an amazing inventor who made waves in both medicine & wine his boundless energy & intellect will be missed but his legacy lives on through thomas fogarty winery diagram of a grapevine with 2 branches: one represents mullen's vision for woodside vineyards, and the other represents fogarty's impact on medical history
.. they're not getting any younger, but it's still sad to hear about these two legends passing away . I mean, can you imagine not being able to sip on that famous Woodside Vineyards wine after 99? Mullen and Fogarty may have left the building, but their mark is still all over the place in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I guess it's a reminder that even old folks can leave a lasting impact .
OMG, like I just read this crazy news about Robert Mullen and Dr. Thomas Fogarty they were both soooo cool! Robert was a total pioneer in the wine world, you know? He started his winery in 1963 and everyone else was still using those old jug sizes lol. But he went all out and bottled his wines in pints and quarts, genius!
And Dr. Fogarty, wow... I had no idea he was an inventor too! Like, a real-life superhero He invented so many things that helped people and stuff. It's amazing how one person can have such a huge impact.
I'm kinda sad they're gone, but it's cool to know their legacies will live on. Maybe we can learn something from them and be more like them?
