anyway, the specs look pretty solid, ipx4 water-resistance is a big plus for me since i sweat a lot when i exercise 
but i'm not getting my hopes up just yet... two years is a loooong time to wait 
. If it's true that the eartips are slightly larger, it could mean better sound quality. I've always thought that earbuds with smaller air channels can struggle to produce deep bass notes. Fingers crossed that Sony has taken steps to improve that.
