Storied SF culinary institution Rich Table expands with casual RT Rotisserie and cozy RT Bistro

San Francisco's Culinary Landmark Expands with Two New Concepts

Rich Table, a beloved San Francisco institution for nearly 14 years, has been a benchmark for fresh ingredients and hearty homestyle recipes. Co-owned by Evan and Sarah Rich, who boast over 30 years of culinary experience between them, the restaurant prides itself on being a chef-driven space where seasonal produce is paramount.

The couple's approach to cooking stems from their diverse backgrounds - Evan grew up on the East Coast while Sarah traveled through Texas and Louisiana before settling in San Francisco. This blend of flavors has shaped Rich Table into the unique culinary experience it is today, with dishes that speak for themselves rather than relying on traditional recipes.

For Rich Table, which has garnered tremendous support from the Bay Area community, expansion was a natural next step. The new concepts, RT Rotisserie and RT Bistro, aim to cater to different tastes and preferences within the same food universe. RT Rotisserie offers more home-style cooking, while RT Bistro boasts more upscale dishes with a focus on simplicity, freshness, and seasonality.

Running three successful restaurants simultaneously can be a challenge, but the Richs have successfully managed to merge business and personal lives. Their kids are often present at the restaurants, and their shared goals and vision for their culinary ventures have created an environment where both work and family thrive.

In essence, RT Rotisserie and RT Bistro are two sides of the same coin, each with its unique identity while maintaining Rich Table's signature commitment to using only the freshest ingredients.

idk what's more impressive - them expanding their culinary empire or how they're making it work as a fam-run business 🤔♀️. i mean, 30 yrs of culinary experience is wild, and now they're killing the game with 3 restaurants 🍴. but have you ever noticed how avocado toast became a thing? like, what's next for sf food scene - artisanal water? 💧😂

Ugh, I just realized that RT Rotisserie has already broken their own website 🤦‍♂️! Like, how do you even manage to launch two new concepts at once and still have a functioning site? Not impressed with Rich Table's tech support, if you ask me 😒. And don't even get me started on the Instagram spam - "Book now" this and "Join our email list" that... can't they just keep their promotions to a minimum? 🙄

Just got word that Rich Table in SF is opening 2 new spots 🤩 - RT Rotisserie & RT Bistro! Sounds like Evan and Sarah are bringing even more deliciousness to the table, but I'm a bit worried about how they're gonna juggle it all. Those restaurants have been staples of the community for years, and I'm not sure if expanding will dilute the magic 🤔... still, can't wait to try out the new spots and see what the Richs come up with! 👌

🤕 just heard that San Francisco's iconic restaurant Rich Table is expanding into 2 new concepts... sounds like they're trying to cater to everyone's taste buds? 🤷‍♀️ RT Rotisserie is like the comfort food cousin, while RT Bistro is all about upscale simplicity. what's next? 🍴 will they open a fast food joint? 😂

🤩 just saw that Rich Table is expanding! 🍴 I've been going there for ages and it never fails to impress. Their seasonal menu is always on point and their food quality is insane. Can't wait to try out RT Rotisserie and RT Bistro - sounds like a great addition to the SF food scene! 👌

omg can't believe they're finally opening up new spots!! 🤩 i've been going to Rich Table for ages and it's always a highlight of my week. their seasonal menu is everything, especially during farmer's market season 🌼🍴 i'm super stoked about the new concepts tho, RT Rotisserie sounds like a total game-changer for comfort food lovers and RT Bistro is all about fancy vibes 💁‍♀️. the fact that they're keeping it family-friendly too is a major win in my book 👪 can't wait to try out both and see how they compare to the original Rich Table

Wow 🤩 Interesting how they managed to expand their culinary empire without losing that special touch! RT Rotisserie & RT Bistro sound like a match made in heaven - both bringing different vibes but still keeping it fresh and delicious. 🍴👌

Ugh, I'm getting so tired of these platform-wide updates 🤦‍♀️... like, can't they just let restaurants focus on their own things? 🙄 I mean, don't get me wrong, RT Rotisserie and Bistro sound great and all, but do we really need to know about every. Single. Expansion. On a national scale? It's just so much noise in my feed... 💥 Can't they just keep the updates local or at least relevant to foodies like me? 🍴

Just what San Francisco needed more good food 🤩! The Richs' expansion is a no-brainer, their culinary expertise will keep us Bay Area foodies hooked 🔥. RT Rotisserie and RT Bistro are both winners in my book 👌

Just had lunch at Rich Table last week 🤤 and OMG, their new rotisserie spot RT Rotisserie is giving me all the feels! I loved how they brought a more down-to-earth vibe with the home-style cooking, it's so refreshing to see a twist on traditional SF eats 🌮. The fact that Evan and Sarah are keeping their personal touch while expanding means you still get that Rich Table love & care. Their kids are always around, which is super cute, I wish my fam was as chill 😊. Can't wait to try RT Bistro next!

I'm not sure I buy this whole 'expansion' thing 🤔. Three restaurants at once? That just sounds like a recipe for disaster... or a fancy way of saying they're gonna be overwhelmed. I mean, what if one of them flops and affects the others? The Richs are lucky to have a loyal following at Rich Table, but do we really need two more concepts to muddle up the waters? 😐 RT Rotisserie sounds like just another comfort food joint, and RT Bistro is probably gonna be some overpriced fancy-pants spot. Can't they just stick with what they know and love?

I'm actually stoked about this expansion! I love how Rich Table is evolving and still staying true to its core values. It's awesome that they're catering to different tastes with RT Rotisserie and RT Bistro – it shows they're willing to adapt while maintaining their signature freshness.

The fact that the kids are involved is super cool too 😊. Family is everything, and it's great to see the Richs balancing work and family life so seamlessly. Here's hoping this expansion takes them to new heights! 🚀

I gotta say 🤯, I'm loving this expansion from Rich Table! Two new concepts under one roof? Genius move, in my opinion 😎. RT Rotisserie is gonna be a game-changer for comfort food lovers, and RT Bistro's all about that fresh, simple vibes 🥗👌. The fact that they're keeping it family-run is the icing on the cake, imo 👪. Can't wait to try out both places and see how they stack up against Rich Table 🤔

just had the most amazing dinner at Rich Table last night 🍴👌 and I'm low-key super excited about their new concepts! I mean, who wouldn't want more RT Rotisserie goodness? 😊 but seriously, Evan and Sarah are total geniuses for expanding without sacrificing that signature feel. their kids must be so lucky to have parents who are both super successful in their own right 🤗 and btw, have you tried the new seasonal menu items at Rich Table yet? totally on point! 💯

🤔 the more restaurants Evan & Sarah open, the better I am at my job 😉. but seriously, I think they're doing a great thing by expanding and offering different concepts that cater to various tastes. it's awesome how their kids are involved too - it's like one big happy family 👪!

i was thinking... 📝

anyway, I think it's exciting to see the new additions and how they'll complement each other 🎉.

I'm low-key disappointed that they're not opening up a vegan/ plant-based spot 🤷‍♀️. Like, San Francisco is all about being open-minded and trying new things, you know? Rich Table has been killing it for years, but I think there's a gap in the market for some more adventurous options. Plus, with the rise of plant-based everything, it feels like an opportunity to innovate and bring something fresh to the table 🍴.

🤔 I think it's so cool that Evan & Sarah Rich are able to stay true to their values while expanding their brand. Their focus on seasonal produce and simplicity is really inspiring, especially in an industry where trends can change quickly 🌱💚. And I love how they're catering to different tastes with RT Rotisserie & RT Bistro - it's like they're giving the Bay Area community even more reasons to fall in love with Rich Table 💕👍
