I mean, think about it... if we're talking about asylum seekers here, they're already in a super vulnerable position, you know? They've left their home countries, they're trying to escape some kind of hardship or danger... and then the US is like "nope, you can't come in"? That doesn't seem right to me. And what about Mexico's border policies, though? Are they supposed to just be a buffer zone for the US to ignore its own immigration rules? I'm not saying it's all Mexico's fault or anything, but they do have a responsibility to deal with their own borders too... and the US is basically using them as a scapegoat. ️
