man... ceal floyer's final work is like something outta a movie
she was so fearless about death and mortality, it's inspiring and kinda terrifying at the same time
i mean, how many people can say they gave the middle finger to a wooden crucifix in a hospital room?
it's like she was defying not just death, but also the expectations of what's considered "art" or "acceptable" behavior.
and i love that she found solace and liberation in her art despite being sick for 23 years
it's like she took all those struggles and turned them into something beautiful. the fact that she still managed to create something new and meaningful even when her body was failing is just incredible
it's a reminder that art can be a powerful way to cope with adversity, but also to challenge our own perceptions of life and death
