The mass media's blind spot on Trump's Venezuela escalation

🤔 I'm getting really worried about the way our so-called "independent" news outlets are covering Trump's actions in Venezuela 🇻🇪... like, what even is going on? They're just parroting whatever the Pentagon and the White House are saying, without asking any tough questions 🗣️. It's like they're more interested in getting along with the powers that be than doing their actual job of holding them accountable 💼.

And don't even get me started on the language they're using – "legitimate" to describe an invasion? Are you kidding me?! 😂 It's like they're trying to normalize this kind of behavior, make it seem like it's just a normal part of US foreign policy 🤦‍♂️.

I mean, I'm all for scrutiny and debate, but when the press is more focused on avoiding controversy than actually holding people in power accountable, that's when we should be worried 😬. And Trump's response to criticism? More "America First" rhetoric and bluster – like, no wonder he's getting away with this stuff 🤷‍♂️.

Can't we do better than this?! 🙏

I'm so worried about what's going on with Trump and Venezuela 🤕. It's like he's trying to be some kind of dictator or something! The way the press is just ignoring all this and praising his actions is really concerning 😒. I mean, where are they getting their information from? It doesn't make sense to me. We need more critical thinking in journalism, you know? 🤔 Not just regurgitating what the gov't says without questioning it. This whole "America First" thing sounds super sketchy to me...

I'm so bummed about what's going on with Trump and Venezuela 🤕. I mean, you'd think the press would be all over his administration's actions, but instead they're just glossing over it like it's no big deal 😐. And I get why, some of this stuff sounds super suspicious... the Pentagon's move being framed as a "coup" and an "invasion"... what? That's not how you do diplomacy, man 🤯.

And don't even get me started on Trump himself - dude is just spewing out all these crazy ideas about US dominance in the Western Hemisphere 💥. It's like, come on, America First isn't exactly a secret agenda 🙄. And I love that some conservative voices are speaking up about this too... it shows there are still people around who care about the consequences of our actions.

But at the same time, I gotta wonder if we're just going to sit back and let the press enable Trump's expansionist plans without any pushback 🤔. It feels like we're stuck in some kind of retro-futuristic nightmare where journalism is basically a spectator sport... which isn't exactly the kind of reporting we need right now 📰.

🚨📰😬 the US media's total ignoreance about trump's venezuela move is wild 🤯 theyre more worried bout lookin good than askin questions and callin out the obvious 😳 it aint like they didnt see this comin either i mean how many times did bush invade iraq without any real scrutiny lol 🙄
