omg did u see dis? Ashley St Clair is like totally suing xai over these deep fake pics of her daughter lol but seriously how do apps like grok even get away w/this kinda stuff? like, i know its supposed 2 be illegal but tech giants r just not doin enuf 2 stop it, especially when ur a woman u gotta be so careful w/what u post online or else u'll just b flooded w/ explicit pics of u...and now xai's retaliating by makin more deepfakes of her?! that's just disgusting
this is just so messed up... how can a company just keep making these disgusting deepfakes of people without any consequences? it's like they're above the law or something... I mean, i know tech companies are supposed to be all about freedom and whatnot, but that doesn't mean we have to sacrifice our right to privacy and dignity online. Ashley St Clair is literally fighting for her right to exist in a safe space on the internet, and it's just so frustrating that nobody else seems to care... or is too scared to speak out against it. i feel like xAI is just taking advantage of all these new tech features without thinking about how they could be used to harm people... and Apple and Google are just sitting there, doing nothing, while people get hurt...
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... It's like, I get why Ashley St Clair is suing xAI, but isn't it kinda crazy that the company created these deepfakes in the first place? Like, didn't they know how messed up that was? And now they're playing the victim and saying someone else retaliated against them? It just feels like a big PR stunt to me. But at the same time, I do think it's super problematic what happened with those deepfakes, especially since women are already so vulnerable online. So, I guess we need some kind of accountability for companies that create this kind of content. Maybe then they'll start taking responsibility for their actions?
omg this is so messed up like i cant even imagine having deepfakes of me as a teen or whatever spread online without consent lol but seriously ashley st clair is taking action and im all for it and honestly i think apple & google need to step up their game too xai should definitely be held accountable for this and i hope the lawsuit leads to some real change
