just read about Joe Sacco's new book The Once and Future Riot and I gotta say... this guy's got some serious guts to tackle these heavy topics 
but what really gets me is how he highlights the elephant in the room – that our democratic systems can be pretty messed up when it comes to violence & sectarianism 
it's like, we need more stories like this to shake us out of our complacency 
. It's like he takes you back to the streets of India during those crazy riots in 2013, and you feel like you're right there with him, facin' all that violence and hatred. The way he weaves together history and journalism is just masterful - it's like a punch in the gut, wakin' you up to the real issues at hand.
. Still, you gotta respect the way he tells his story - it's raw, honest, and sometimes downright uncomfortable to read.
